Serife Onar
The games are now more important than at the beginning of the Regular Season. We may still expect few shocking results in upcoming 6 rounds.

The most exciting game of round 32 in the TKBL took place in Ankara. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 4th ranked Cankaya (23-8) to second ranked Ormanspor (26-6) 63-62 on Saturday evening. Ormanspor forced 20 Cankaya turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Serife Onar (167-96) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 6 assists and Nigerian-American center Aisha Mohammed (191-85, college: Virginia) who added 6 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Ormanspor's coach Furkan Saglik used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American-Azerbaijani center Marcedes-Marie Walker (191-86, college: Pittsburgh) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Ormanspor maintains second position with 26-6 record having five points less than leader Bornova, which they share with Edremit. Cankaya at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Bodrum. Ormanspor is looking forward to face Mersin Uni (#6) at home in the next round. Cankaya will play against Mersin Kurtulus and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
TKBL top team - Bornova (30-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fifteenth ranked Edirne (11-21) 61-56. The winners were led by the former international guard Esra Sencebe (173-81) who scored that evening 19 points and 7 assists and Shae Kelley supported her with 8 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds by American forward Arhonda Covington (185-85, college: Louisville) did not help to save the game for Edirne. Bornova have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 30-3 record. Edirne lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with 21 games lost. Bornova will play against Yalova Vip (#16) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Bottom-ranked 55 Genclik (0-32) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 32th consecutive match to eleventh ranked TED Ankara (17-15) 67-44 on Saturday evening. The best player for the winners was Ozel Ladin who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. Sixteenth-ranked Yalova Vip (10-22) gave a tough game to seventh ranked Izmit (21-11). The visitors from Izmit managed to secure only one-point victory 56-55.
