The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

Sixth-ranked Acibadem (18-10) was very close to win a game against first ranked Eskisehir Basket (23-5) in Edirne on Saturday. Eskisehir Basket managed to secure only two-point victory 108-106. However their fans expected much easier game. Eskisehir Basket made 27-of-30 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Acibadem helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Josh Duncan (203-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Bugrahan Tuncer contributed with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 15 assists for the winners. American guard Bracey Wright (191-84, college: Indiana) replied with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 7 steals for Acibadem. Acibadem's coach Serhan Aydanarig rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Eskisehir Basket maintains first position with 23-5 record. Acibadem at the other side keeps the sixth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Istanbulspor. Eskisehir Basket are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Muglaorman (#18) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Acibadem will play against Yalova Bld (#13) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Important game to mention about took place in Akhisar. Twelfth ranked Akhisar Bld (11-17) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 10th ranked Bandirma Kir. (13-15) 69-68 on Saturday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Tyler Smith (200-86, college: Tennessee) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and Leemire Goldwire who added 13 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Akhisar Bld's coach Serhat Yapici allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side point guard Ismail-Cem Ulusoy (183-96, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 13 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Akhisar Bld maintains twelfth position with 11-17 record. Bandirma Kir. at the other side keeps the tenth place with 15 games lost. Akhisar Bld will play against higher ranked Afyon Bld (#5) in Afyonkarahisar in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Bandirma Kir. will play at home against Mamak DSI (#17) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Bursaspor have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Bursaspor maintains fourth position with 21-7 record. Yalova Bld at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth place with 18 games lost. Bursaspor will meet at home Pertevniyal (#15) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Yalova Bld will play against Acibadem in Istanbul and hope to secure a win.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Samsun (15-12) and Mamak DSI (6-22), which took place in Ankara. Higher ranked Samsun lost to seventeenth ranked Mamak DSI in a road game 72-86. American players dominated the game. Tyshawn Taylor fired 21 points and 9 assists for the winners. Mamak DSI moved-up to sixteenth place, which they share with Final Genclik. Newly promoted Samsun keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. Mamak DSI's next round opponent will be higher ranked Bandirma Kir. (#10) in Balikesir and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Duzce Belediye maintains fourteenth position with 9-19 record. Muglaorman lost third consecutive game. Muglaorman at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay dead last with 24 lost games. Duzce Belediye will face higher ranked Gelisim (#11) in Izmir in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Muglaorman will play at home against the league's leader Eskisehir Basket (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.

Other games in round 28 were not that significant. Afyon was beaten by Sakarya BSB on the road 89-78. Socar Petkim destroyed Gelisim on its own court 85-59. Turk Telekom managed to outperform Pertevniyal in Ankara 81-71. Final Genclik recorded a loss to Istanbulspor at home 74-84.

Very predictable result when ninth ranked Turk Telekom (15-13) won against 15th ranked Pertevniyal (8-20) in Istanbul 81-71 on Saturday. Turk Telekom made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Pertevniyal turnovers. Strangely Pertevniyal outrebounded Turk Telekom 43-23 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Quite impressive performance for American power forward Darryl Monroe (201-86, college: George Mason, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. The former international swingman Serhat Cetin (197-86) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 assists for the winners. Guard Cagdas Erdogan (188-88) replied with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Adem Oren (207-79) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Pertevniyal. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Turk Telekom maintains ninth position with 15-13 record. Pertevniyal lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with 20 games lost. Turk Telekom will face Final Genclik (#16) in Bursa in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Brandon Brown (201-85, college: CS San Bernar.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Brown is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Anthony Tucker (193-89, college: MSU Moorhead) replied with 24 points and 7 rebounds and center Damontre Harris (208-91, college: Campbellsville) added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Final Genclik. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Istanbulspor moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Acibadem. Final Genclik lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth position with 22 games lost. Istanbulspor will face league's second-placed Sakarya BSB in Sakaraya in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
