Josh Duncan
30-year old power forward Josh Duncan (203-F/C-86) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team Eskisehir Basket and receives a Eurobasket.com TBL Player of the Week award for round 28.
He had a double-double of 38 points and 11 rebounds, while his team edged out Acibadem (#7, 18-10) 108-106. It allowed Eskisehir Basket to consolidate first place in the Turkish TBL. Eskisehir Basket have a solid 23-5 record. In the team's last game Duncan had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Eskisehir Basket's top player in his first season with the team. Josh Duncan averages this season 18.5ppg and 8.0rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Darryl Monroe (201-C/F-86, agency: BeoBasket) of Turk Telekom. He is American in his first season at Turk Telekom. In the last game Monroe recorded impressive double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds. Of course Turk Telekom cruised to a 81-71 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Pertevniyal (#15, 8-20). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Turk Telekom keeps 9th position. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 15-13 record is not bad and everything may still change. Monroe is a newcomer at Turk Telekom and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Tyler Smith (200-F-86) of Akhisar Bld (#12). Smith showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, seventeen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of Akhisar Bld, leading his team to a 69-68 win against slightly higher-ranked Bandirma Kir. (#10, 13-15). The chances of Akhisar Bld not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 17 games, recording just eleven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Smith could try to bring Akhisar Bld's a little bit higher in the standings. Smith has individually a great season in Turkey. After 28 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.6ppg (5th best) and assists with 3.6apg (9th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Bracey Wright (191-G-84) of Acibadem - 29 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists
5. Mikael Hopkins (206-F) of Samsun - 23 points, 14 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Elijah Johnson (192-G-90) of Istanbulspor - 33 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Kenan Bajramovic (206-C/F-81) of Socar Petkim - 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Can Altintig (195-G-87) of Acibadem - 25 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists
9. Kerem Gonlum (208-PF-77) of Sakarya BSB - 16 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Serhat Cetin (197-G/F-86) of Turk Telekom - 24 points and 11 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
