The teams have now bigger motivation at this stage of Regular Season. Every game can be crucial and decide about teams' position at the end of Regular Season.

Eighth-ranked Samsun (15-13) gave a tough game to third ranked Socar Petkim (23-6) on Wednesday. The visitors from Petkim managed to secure only two-point victory 70-68. However their fans expected much easier game. Socar Petkim made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Samsun helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Swingman Polat Kaya (197-86) stepped up and scored 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners and Bosnian power forward Kenan Bajramovic (206-81) chipped in 9 points and 10 rebounds. Socar Petkim's coach Burak Goren used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Mikael Hopkins (206, college: Georgetown) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. Socar Petkim have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 23-6 record behind leader Eskisehir Basket. Newly promoted Samsun dropped to the ninth position with 13 games lost. Socar Petkim are looking forward to face Bandirma Kir. (#10) in Balikesir in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Samsun will play on the road against Duzce Belediye and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
TBL top team - Eskisehir Basket (24-5) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighteenth ranked Muglaorman (4-25) 124-88. American swingman Sean Marshall (198-85, college: Boston Coll.) nailed 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Bugrahan Tuncer accounted for 13 points and 13 assists. Omer Gogus (-89) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for Muglaorman in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Eskisehir Basket maintains first place with 24-5 record. Muglaorman lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 25 lost games. Eskisehir Basket will play against Gelisim (#11) in Izmir in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Muglaorman will play on the road against Yalova Bld (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Istanbul was also quite interesting. Second ranked Sakarya BSB (24-6) played at the court of 6th ranked Istanbulspor (18-11). Sakarya BSB defeated Istanbulspor 78-68 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Istanbulspor. The best player for the winners was Hakan Yapar who scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Brandon Brown produced a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sakarya BSB have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 24-6 record having just one point less than leader Eskisehir Basket. Newly promoted Istanbulspor dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. Sakarya BSB will meet at home Final Genclik (#17) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Istanbulspor will play against Akhisar Bld (#12) and hope to secure a win.
A very interesting game took place in Izmir. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 11th ranked Gelisim (12-18) to fourteenth ranked Duzce Belediye (10-19) 75-73 on Wednesday evening. Mehmet Gorkem orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 7 rebounds. Gelisim's coach Arda Vekiloglu rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Duzce Belediye moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Yalova Bld. Gelisim at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 18 games lost. Duzce Belediye's next round opponent will be higher ranked Samsun (#9) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
An interesting game took place in Balikesir where higher ranked Bandirma Kir. (13-16) was upset on its own court by seventeenth ranked Mamak DSI (7-22) 92-88 on Wednesday. Reginald Holmes stepped up and scored 27 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Bandirma Kir.'s coach Menderes Gumusdal tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Mamak DSI moved-up to sixteenth place. Bandirma Kir. lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 16 games lost. Mamak DSI will face higher ranked Afyon Bld (#5) in Afyonkarahisar in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 29: Pertevniyal lost to Bursaspor on the opponent's court 67-84. Turk Telekom managed to outperform Final Genclik in a home game 111-99. Yalova Bld was rolled over Acibadem on the road 84-61. Afyon defeated Akhisar Bld on its own court 74-67.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by Dejan Borovnjak of Bursaspor.

Mugla Orman - Eskisehir Basket 88-124

TBL top team - Eskisehir Basket (24-5) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighteenth ranked Muglaorman (4-25) 124-88. Eskisehir Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Muglaorman's 32 and made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Muglaorman 41-22 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Eskisehir Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 37 assists comparing to just 22 passes made by Muglaorman's players. American swingman Sean Marshall (198-85, college: Boston Coll.) nailed 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Bugrahan Tuncer accounted for 13 points and 13 assists. Very expected game when 15th ranked Pertevniyal (8-21) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Bursaspor (22-7) 84-67 on Wednesday. Bursaspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: BeoBasket) stepped up and scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and the former international forward Yunus Cankaya (199-85) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Bursaspor players scored in double figures. Guard Cagdas Erdogan (188-88) responded with 12 points and 6 assists and American point guard Lateef McMullan (180-90, college: Portland St.) scored 14 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bursaspor have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Very predictable result in Ankara where ninth ranked Turk Telekom (16-13) defeated 17th ranked Final Genclik (6-23) 111-99 on Wednesday. Turk Telekom forced 20 Final Genclik turnovers and outrebounded them 40-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Final Genclik was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court. Power forward Darryl Monroe (201-86, college: George Mason, agency: BeoBasket) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and point guard Tywain McKee (188-86, college: Coppin St.) chipped in 23 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. Guard Anthony Tucker (193-89, college: MSU Moorhead) responded with 22 points and 5 assists and center Damontre Harris (208-91, college: Campbellsville) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). A very interesting game took place in Izmir. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 11th ranked Gelisim (12-18) to fourteenth ranked Duzce Belediye (10-19) 75-73 on Wednesday evening. Mehmet Gorkem (-77) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 7 rebounds. American-Puerto Rican point guard TreVon Hughes (183-87, college: Wisconsin) contributed with 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Duzce Belediye players scored in double figures. Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) answered with 16 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and Huseyin-Akin Kandemir (-95) added 23 points in the effort for Gelisim. Gelisim's coach Arda Vekiloglu rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Duzce Belediye moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Yalova Bld. Gelisim at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 18 games lost. Duzce Belediye's next round opponent will be higher ranked Samsun (#9) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.

Afyon - Akhisar Bld 74-67

Everything went according to plan in Afyonkarahisar where fifth ranked Afyon Bld (20-10) beat 12th ranked Akhisar Bld (11-18) 74-67 on Wednesday. Forward Hadi Ozdemir (203-83) stepped up and scored 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and American guard Quincy Douby (190-84, college: Rutgers) chipped in 19 points and 5 assists. Forward Cenk Sekeroglu (203-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eleven shots !!!) and American forward Tyler Smith (200-86, college: Tennessee) scored 6 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Afyon Bld maintains fifth place with 20-10 record. Loser Akhisar Bld keeps the twelfth position with 18 games lost. Afyon Bld will face Mamak DSI (#16) in Ankara in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Akhisar Bld will play at home against Istanbulspor (#7) and hope to win that game.

Mamak DSI made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 60.9 percentage. Mamak DSI looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Reginald Holmes (193-87, college: Morgan St., agency: Two Points) stepped up and scored 27 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners and the former international swingman Ulug Kacaniku (202-85) chipped in 26 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Ismail-Cem Ulusoy (183-96, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 34 points (!!!) and 5 assists and swingman Erkin Senel (191-99) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Bandirma Kir.'s coach Menderes Gumusdal tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Mamak DSI moved-up to sixteenth place. Bandirma Kir. lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 16 games lost. Mamak DSI will face higher ranked Afyon Bld (#5) in Afyonkarahisar in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
