The Regular Season in BSL is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 5 rounds.

The game between second ranked Anadolu Efes (21-4) and seventh ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (14-11) was the most important one in the last round on Monday night. Anadolu Efes was defeated by Pinar Karsiyaka in a tough game in Karsiyaka 96-100. Pinar Karsiyaka made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. American forward DaJuan Summers (203-88, college: Georgetown) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import point guard JCovan Brown (188-90, college: Texas) chipped in 24 points and 7 assists. American-Armenian center Bryant Dunston (203-86) produced 24 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for lost side. Pinar Karsiyaka have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain seventh place with 14-11 record. Anadolu Efes at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Pinar Karsiyaka are looking forward to face higher ranked Darussafaka (#4) in Istanbul in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Anadolu Efes will play at home against Trabzonspor and is hoping to win this game.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Balikesir. First ranked Fenerbahce faced 4th placed Banvit. Guests from Istanbul (23-2) defeated host Banvit (17-8) 86-75. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Banvit. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian swingman Bogdan Bogdanovic (198-92) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 assists. Ekpe Udoh contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Lithuanian swingman Gediminas Orelik (199-90) answered with 29 points for Banvit. Fenerbahce have an impressive series of sixteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 23-2 record. Banvit at the other side dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. Fenerbahce will play against Gaziantep (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Banvit will play against Besiktas in Istanbul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Ninth-ranked Tofas (10-15) made lots of trouble for third ranked Besiktas (20-5) in Bursa on Saturday. The visitors from Istanbul managed to secure only one-point victory 95-94. However their fans expected much easier game. Vladimir Stimac stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Besiktas' coach Ufuk Sarica used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Sammy Mejia responded with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Besiktas. They maintain third place with 20-5 record having just three points less than leader Fenerbahce. Tofas lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with 15 games lost. Besiktas will meet at home Banvit (#5) in the next round. Tofas will play against TED Kolejliler (#16) in Ankara and hope to secure a win.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Gaziantep. Local Gaziantep (13-12) outscored 12th ranked Trabzonspor (8-17) 96-75. Davon Jefferson nailed a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Gaziantep's coach Stefanos Dedas felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gaziantep maintains eighth place with 13-12 record. Trabzonspor at the other side keeps the twelfth position with 17 games lost. Gaziantep's next round opponent will be league's leader Fenerbahce in Istanbul and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Trabzonspor will play on the road against the league's second-placed Anadolu Efes (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.

Other games of round 25 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Yesilgiresun was defeated by Darussafaka in Istanbul 87-77. Galatasaray beat Istanbul BBSK at home 74-67. Bottom-ranked TED Kolejliler lost to Best Balikesir on the opponent's court 73-86. Demir IBB managed to outperform Usak in a home game 103-87.

Pinar Karsiyaka - Anadolu Efes 100-96

Darussafaka players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Yesilgiresun Bld's players. American guard Scottie Wilbekin (188-93, college: Florida) nailed 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import Luke Harangody (202-88, college: Notre Dame) accounted for 14 points and 7 assists. Five Darussafaka players scored in double figures. American-Romanian point guard Malcolm Armstead (187-89, college: Wichita St., agency: Three Eye Sports) came up with 29 points and 6 assists and American Anthony Gill (203-92, college: Virginia) added 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively for Yesilgiresun Bld in the defeat. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Darussafaka. They maintain fourth place with 18-7 record. Yesilgiresun Bld lost their fourth game in a row.
