There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in TBL.

Fifth-ranked Afyon Bld (21-13) made lots of trouble for second ranked Eskisehir Basket (27-6) in Afyonkarahisar on Saturday. The visitors from Edirne managed to secure only one-point victory 69-68. However their fans expected easier game. The best player for the winners was Bugrahan Tuncer who scored 26 points and 5 rebounds. American power forward Josh Duncan (203-86) chipped in 10 points and 18 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Slovenian power forward Miha Zupan (205-82) who recorded 16 points and 8 rebounds. Eskisehir Basket keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Socar Petkim. Afyon Bld at the other side dropped to the sixth place with 13 games lost. Eskisehir Basket is looking forward to face Istanbulspor (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Afyon Bld will play against Yalova Bld and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
Eleventh-ranked Akhisar Bld (13-20) made lots of trouble for ninth ranked Turk Telekom (19-14) in Ankara. Turk Telekom managed to secure only one-point victory 100-99. However their fans expected easier game. It was a good game for American point guard Tywain McKee (188-86, college: Coppin St.) who saved his team from a defeat with 28 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Darryl Monroe contributed with 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Tyler Smith (200-86, college: Tennessee) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds for Akhisar Bld. Turk Telekom have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain ninth place with 19-14 record. Akhisar Bld at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 20 games lost. Turk Telekom will play against higher ranked Samsun (#8) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Akhisar Bld will play against Mamak DSI in Ankara and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Sakaraya. Local Sakarya BSB (27-7) outscored 16th ranked Mamak DSI (9-24) 104-63 on Saturday night. Hakan Yapar stepped up and scored 16 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Sakarya BSB's coach Burak Selcuk Ernak felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Nezih Ozbakir with 18 points. Sakarya BSB maintains third place with 27-7 record having just one point less than leader Eskisehir Basket. Loser Mamak DSI keeps the sixteenth position with 24 games lost. Sakarya BSB will meet league's second-placed Socar Petkim on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Mamak DSI will play against Akhisar Bld (#11) and hope to secure a win.

Other games of round 33 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Pertevniyal was defeated by Samsun in a road game 85-67. Bottom-ranked Mugla Orman was smashed by Acibadem at home 69-97. Duzce Bld. was destroyed by Istanbulspor on the opponent's court 90-63. Bandirma Kir. managed to outperform Yalova Bld in a home game 89-76. Socar Petkim managed to beat Final Genclik on the road 96-84. Gelisim was defeated by Bursaspor on its own court 80-88.

Samsun - Pertevniyal 85-67

There was no surprise when 14th ranked Pertevniyal (11-22) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Samsun (19-13) 85-67 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Samsun. Pertevniyal managed to win fourth quarter 22-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Pertevniyal to just 7 points in second quarter. Samsun have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to eighth place. Loser Pertevniyal keeps the fourteenth position with 22 games lost. Samsun will meet higher ranked Bursaspor (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Pertevniyal will play against Bandirma Kir. (#10) and hope to secure a win.

Sakarya BSB - Mamak DSI 104-63

The game with biggest result difference took place in Sakaraya. Local Sakarya BSB (27-7) outscored 16th ranked Mamak DSI (9-24) 104-63 on Saturday night. Sakarya BSB dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Mamak DSI's 30. Sakarya BSB forced 20 Mamak DSI turnovers and outrebounded them 35-17 including a 26-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sakarya BSB looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Center Hakan Yapar (202-84) stepped up and scored 16 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and forward Tufan Onen (202-89) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Sakarya BSB's coach Burak Selcuk Ernak felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best for the losing side was American guard Ricky Harris (187-87, college: Massachusetts) with 31 points and 4 assists and Yunus Erenoglu scored 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Acibadem moved-up to fifth place.
