The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets.

BSL top team - Fenerbahce (24-2) added another victory to their record on Friday. This time they beat eighth ranked Gaziantep (13-13) in Istanbul 97-92. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Gaziantep. Fenerbahce made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Gaziantep turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by Gaziantep helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Serbian swingman Bogdan Bogdanovic (198-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Czech power forward Jan Vesely (213-90) contributed with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American forward Davon Jefferson (204-86, college: USC) replied with 25 points and 9 rebounds for Gaziantep. Fenerbahce have an impressive 17-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 24-2 record. Gaziantep at the other side keeps the eighth place with 13 games lost. Fenerbahce are looking forward to face Trabzonspor (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Gaziantep will play against Besiktas (#3) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
The game in Karsiyaka was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Darussafaka (19-7) played at the court of 7th ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (14-12). Darussafaka managed to secure a 5-point victory 95-90. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Pinar Karsiyaka. American players dominated the game. Guard Brad Wanamaker (193-89, college: Pittsburgh) scored 28 points and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Scottie Wilbekin chipped in 27 points during the contest. Darussafaka's coach David Blatt allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. point guard Mike Green (185-85, college: Butler) responded with 33 points (!!!) and 5 assists. Darussafaka have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 19-7 record. Pinar Karsiyaka at the other side keeps the seventh place with 12 games lost. Darussafaka will play against league's second-placed Anadolu Efes in Istanbul in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Pinar Karsiyaka will play on the road against Galatasaray (#6) in Istanbul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Tenth-ranked Yesilgiresun Bld (9-17) used its home court advantage to challenge sixth ranked Galatasaray (16-10) in Giresun on Saturday. The visitors from Istanbul managed to secure only three-point victory 89-86. However their fans expected much easier game. Errick McCollum notched 22 points to lead the effort. Even a double-double of 25 points and 12 rebounds by Ricky Ledo did not help to save the game for Yesilgiresun Bld. Galatasaray have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 16-10 record. Yesilgiresun Bld lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with 17 games lost. Galatasaray will meet at home Pinar Karsiyaka (#7) in the next round. Yesilgiresun Bld will play against Demir IBB (#12) in Buyukcekmece and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The best player for the winners was Cedi Osman who scored 20 points. Anadolu Efes' coach Velimir Perasovic felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Anadolu Efes maintains second position with 22-4 record having just two points less than leader Fenerbahce. Trabzonspor lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 18 games lost. Anadolu Efes' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Istanbul to the arena Darussafaka.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 26: Tofas beat TED Kolejliler on the road 85-75. Istanbul BBSK won against Demir IBB on its own court 86-79. Banvit BK unfortunately lost to Besiktas in Istanbul 69-85. Usak managed to beat Best Balikesir at home 88-80.
The most impressive performance of 26th round was 9 points and 10 rebounds by Alex Tyus of Galatasaray.

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 15th ranked Balikesir's (6-20) road loss to fourteenth ranked Usak Sportlif (8-18) 80-88. The best player for the winners was American DAngelo Harrison (193, college: St.John's, agency: Three Eye Sports) who scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import Shaquielle McKissic (196-90, college: Arizona St.) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Usak Sportlif's coach Ozan Bulkaz used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American power forward Joey Dorsey (206-83, college: Memphis) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 18 rebounds and American-Guyanese forward Delroy James (203-87, college: Rhode Island) added 22 points respectively for the guests. Four Balikesir players scored in double figures. Usak Sportlif moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Trabzonspor and Demir IBB. Newly promoted Balikesir keeps the fifteenth position with 20 games lost. Usak Sportlif's next round opponent will be higher ranked Tofas (#9) in Bursa and it may be quite challenging game. Balikesir will play at home against Istanbul BBSK (#10) and hope to win that game.

The previous (15-16) season Kosut played at Anadolu Efes. But in 6 BSL games he recorded just 1.3ppg and 1.0rpg. He helped them to win the cup and make to league final.
