Politekhnik wins Higher League - May 13, 2016


Politekhnik won the Higher League beating Zolotoy Vek in the Final campaign 80:67. After 16-16 in the first period, Politekhnik exploded with a massive 22-6 surge and grabbed 16 points at the halftime. Zolotoy Vek managed to reduce to 8 entering the last period, while Politekhnik added a 22-17 rally in the last stanza to seal the victory. Timur Arabadgi (193-G/F-81) top-scored for the winners with 26 points, while Anton Rochnyak (206-F/C-91) collected 16 pints and 16 rebounds. Andriy Kulich replied with 17 points and the same number of rebounds in a loss.
