SL Favorit Sport Round 4 of Finals. Khimik conquer the title - May 1, 2016

Dynamo - Khimik 76-78

Khimik nipped Dynamo in Kyiv to conquer the SL Favorit Sport Superleague title. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-76. It was a great shooting night for Khimik especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Branden Frazier (190-92, college: Fordham) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (perfect from downtown making all five shots) and the former international forward Vladimir Konev (201-89) who added 13 points during the contest. Khimik's coach Oleg Yushkin used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side international guard Oleksandr Lypovyy (200-91) responded with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and naturalized Lithuanian center Michailis Anisimovas (215-84) scored 19 points and 7 rebounds.

3-4 Place
Cherkasy - SC Kryvbas 81-85

SC Kryvbas rallied past Cherkasy to gain the lead in the consolation final series. It looked good early as Cherkasy took a 10-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then SC Kryvbas had a 24-8 second period charge getting the lead and Cherkasy was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 81-85. Strangely Cherkasy outrebounded SC Kryvbas 47-34 including 20 on the offensive glass. Cherkasy was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by Russian center Dmitri Lipovtsev (207-86) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Igor Boyarkin (185-95) supported him with 13 points and 8 assists. Four SC Kryvbas players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 18 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists by American guard Larry Hall (190-83, college: W.Oregon, agency: KBA/Omnia Europe) did not help to save the game for Cherkasy. Naturalized Moldovan center Stanislav Zavadsky (213-87) added 16 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Cherkasy's coach Maksym Mikhelson rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
