Ukraine edged Bosnia and Herzegovina in Dnepropetrovsk at the EuroBasket Qualifying Round. An easy start allowed Ukraine to post the second 87:69 win and to jump to the third place in the group.
Even without Pecherov Ukraine started with 8-0 run. Anothet 10-0 run brought them 18:1 in the middle of the period. Bavcic closed the opening quarter at 31:14 but Bosnia never recovered in the game. Serhiy Lishchuk (210-C/F-82, agency: Beo Basket) scored for 35:19 and Andriy Agafonov (207-F-86, agency: Interperformances) netted two for 45:34. Kyrylo Fesenko (213-C-86, agency: Arik Krayn Services) made a jump shot at the end of the half to keep Ukraine in front at 52:37. With 5-0 run the hosts opened the third frame and reached 57:37. Aleksej Nesovic (189-G-85, agency: Beo Basket) cut it to 59:46 and Henry Domercant (192-G-80, college: E.Illinois) nailed three for 68:55. In the beginning of the last quarter Bosnia reduced to 77:69, but Ukraine finished the game on a high note. They kept the guests scoreless for about 4 minutes and ended up with another 10-0 run.
Maksym Pustozvonov (200-F-87, agency: Beo Basket) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Kyrylo Fesenko added 15. Serhiy Lishchuk posted 14, while Andriy Agafonov nailed 13. Henry Domercant responded with 20 points in the losing effort as Bosnia dropped to 1-4 record. Aleksej Nesovic and Kenan Bajramovic (206-F-81, agency: Beo Basket) notched 11 each in defeat.

Eskisehir Basket (TBL) signed 30-year old Ukrainian international center Viacheslav Kravtsov (212-115kg-87, agency: BeoBasket). He played last season at Valencia Basket in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 19 games he had 6.3ppg and 3.3rpg. Kravtsov helped them to win the league title (twice) (also twice). He also played 12 games in Eurocup where he recorded 7.8ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.1bpg.
