Leader Avantazh-Politekhnik delivered the sixteenth win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked Sportlitsey (5-14) 80-53 in Bila Tserkva. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sportlitsey. The game without a history. Avantazh-Politekhnik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Timur Arabadzhi (192-81) who scored 25 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Anton Rochnyak (206-91) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Tomas Vitetskas (173-93) produced 15 points and 6 assists for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Avantazh-Politekhnik maintains first position with 16-3 record. Sportlitsey at the other side keeps the eighth place with 14 games lost. Avantazh-Politekhnik will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Sportlitsey will play again at home against the league's leader Avantazh-Politekhnik (#1) in Kharkov and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.

Ternopil-TNEU at the other side still closes the standings. Aviastar will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Ternopil-TNEU will play again at home against Aviastar (#4) in Zaporozhye and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game in Alchevsk supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Musson (15-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Koksokh-Stal (6-11). Musson smashed Koksokh-Stal 103-71 on Saturday. Musson have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with VolinBasket. Loser Koksokh-Stal keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. Musson will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Koksokh-Stal will play again against Musson (#3) in Symferopil and hope to secure a win.

In the last two games of round 20 Vinnitsky Zubry was crushed by BK Kremen in Kremenchuk 20-0. VolinBasket beat Pulsar at home 79-65.


Ternopil - Aviastar 58-99

Bottom-ranked Ternopil-TNEU (0-17) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 99-58 loss to fourth ranked Aviastar (12-7) in Ternopil. The game without a history. Aviastar led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Ternopil-TNEU to just 6 points in third quarter. Aviastar forced 22 Ternopil-TNEU turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. Forward Sergei Fedorov (198-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Ilya Mahinyko (188-91) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Five Aviastar players scored in double figures. point guard Artem Dachenko (183-90) replied with 23 points and center Sergyi Teleshko (209-92) added 15 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Ternopil-TNEU. Ternopil-TNEU's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Aviastar maintains fourth position with 12-7 record. Ternopil-TNEU at the other side still closes the standings. Aviastar will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. There was no surprise in Kremenchuk where 9th ranked Vinnitsky Zubry (1-14) was crushed by sixth ranked BK Kremen (10-9) 20-0 on Saturday. BK Kremen maintains sixth position with 10-9 record. Vinnitsky Zubry lost twelfth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 14 games lost. BK Kremen will again meet at home Vinnitsky Zubry (#9) in the next round. Vinnitsky Zubry will have a break next round.

VolinBasket - Pulsar 79-65

No shocking result in a game in Lutsk where second ranked VolinBasket (15-4) defeated 5th ranked BC-93 Pulsar (11-8) 79-65 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by VolinBasket. BC-93 Pulsar managed to win fourth quarter 18-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. VolinBasket forced 23 BC-93 Pulsar turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Vadim Reka (206-83) who helped to win the game recording 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and center Mikhailo Nejzhmak (207-87) who added 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four VolinBasket players scored in double figures. Forward Evgen Korovyakov (197-88) responded with 16 points and swingman Taras Lipin (185-93) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. VolinBasket maintains second position with 15-4 record behind leader Avantazh-Pol., which they share with Musson. Loser BC-93 Pulsar keeps the fifth place with eight games lost.
