Leader Avantazh-Politekhnik delivered the seventeenth win on Sunday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked Sportlitsey (5-15) 97-52 in Bila Tserkva. The game without a history. Avantazh-Politekhnik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Sportlitsey's 26 and made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game, while Sportlitsey only scored five points from the stripe. Avantazh-Politekhnik had a 36-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Timur Arabadzhi (192-81) who scored 23 points and 5 assists. Swingman Roman Olchovskiy (196-90) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Yaroslav Kuzmienko (185-93) who recorded 17 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Avantazh-Politekhnik have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 17-3 record. Sportlitsey at the other side keeps the eighth position with 15 games lost. Avantazh-Politekhnik are looking forward to face Musson (#3) in Symferopil in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Sportlitsey will play on the road against Vinnitsky Zubry (#9) in Vinnytsya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked Ternopil-TNEU (0-18) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 114-62 loss to fourth ranked Aviastar (13-7) in Ternopil. It was a good game for center Olexandr Berhin (205-85) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 8 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Dimitri Vinogradski contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Center Sergyi Teleshko (209-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for Ternopil-TNEU. Ternopil-TNEU's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Aviastar maintains fourth place with 13-7 record. Ternopil-TNEU at the other side still closes the standings. Aviastar will play against BK Kremen (#6) in Kremenchuk in the next round. Ternopil-TNEU will play on the road against the league's second-placed VolinBasket (#2) in Lutsk and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last two games of round 21 Vinnitsky Zubry was crushed by BK Kremen in Kremenchuk 20-0. VolinBasket beat Pulsar at home 101-92.
The best stats of 21th round was 38 points (!!!) and 4 steals by Vladimir Zhurzhiy of VolinBasket.

Koksokh-Stal - Musson 72-100

BK Kremen - Vinnitsky Zubry 20-0

There was no surprise in Kremenchuk where 9th ranked Vinnitsky Zubry (1-15) was crushed by sixth ranked BK Kremen (11-9) 20-0 on Sunday. BK Kremen moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Pulsar. Vinnitsky Zubry lost their thirteenth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 15 games lost. BK Kremen will meet higher ranked Aviastar (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vinnitsky Zubry will play against Sportlitsey (#8) in Bila Tserkva and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

VolinBasket - Pulsar 101-92

No shocking result in a game in Lutsk where second ranked VolinBasket (16-4) defeated 5th ranked BC-93 Pulsar (11-9) 101-92 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 31-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. VolinBasket made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 BC-93 Pulsar turnovers. It was a great shooting night for VolinBasket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Point guard Vladimir Zhurzhiy (182-78) stepped up and scored 38 points (!!!) and 4 steals (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) for the winners and power forward Vadim Reka (206-83) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. VolinBasket's coach Sergei Smityukh used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was swingman Taras Lipin (185-93) with 23 points and 8 assists and forward Evgen Korovyakov (197-88) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for VolinBasket. They maintain second place with 16-4 record behind leader Avantazh-Pol., which they share with Musson. Loser BC-93 Pulsar keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with BK Kremen. VolinBasket will meet at home bottom-ranked Ternopil-TNEU (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BC-93 Pulsar will play against Koksokh-Stal (#7) in Alchevsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

SK Cherkasy Monkeys (Superleague) signed 31-year old American center Marvin Jefferson (206-107kg-86, college: Idaho). He played last season at Mugla Orman in Turkish TBL league.
