We bring you last week's top performances from Ukrainians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international forward Katerina Dorogobuzova (187-90, agency: LBM Management), who plays in the Bulgarian NBL. She could not help one of league's weakest teams Neftochimic (18-6) in their last game. Despite Dorogobuzova's very good performance Neftochimic was edged 77-75 at home by the leading Dunav 8806. She was the top scorer with 31 points. Dorogobuzova also added 7 rebounds in 35 minutes on the court. Dorogobuzova is ranked third on the list of the top scorers in the league and also on the list of best rebounders (second place). She has individually a very good year with high stats. Dorogobuzova averages: 21.6ppg, 9.3rpg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 56.5%(229-405), 3FGP: 47.9%(57-119) and FT: 84.7% in the 36 games she played so far. She is currently a member of the Ukrainian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to former international forward Olexandra Kurasova (186-86), who plays in the Hungarian A. Kurasova was not able to help MKB Euroleasing (22-0) in their last game on Sunday. Despite her good performance the league leader MKB Euroleasing was defeated 61-55 on the road by the second-ranked UNI SEAT. Kurasova was the second best scorer with 14 points. She also added 4 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Kurasova has relatively good stats this season: 12.1ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.3apg, 1.7spg, 2FGP: 51.8%, 3FGP: 36.5% and FT: 76.4%. She played for the Ukrainian national team in 2010.

   #3. The Ukrainian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international guard Anna Sokolan (178-84) is a teammate of previously mentioned Katerina Dorogobuzova. But that was another game of her team in Bulgarian NBL which we would like to mention. Sokolan. She was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams Neftochimic (18-6) in their game against Dunav 8806 (22-2), despite her very good performance on Friday night. Sokolan was the top scorer with 16 points. She also added 3 passes in 40 minutes. But Neftochimic lost 52-67 on their home court in Burgas to the leading Dunav 8806. It's Sokolan's sixth season with the team. This year Sokolan's overall stats are: 7.3ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.8apg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 41.3%, 3FGP: 34.4% and FT: 81.7% in the 36 games. She has a dual citizenship: Ukrainian and Russian. Despite Sokolan played previously for the Russian national team, she played also for the Ukrainian national team in 2010.

   #4. Guard Olga Dubrovina (170-87, also represented by LBM Management) is a teammate of previously mentioned Katerina Dorogobuzova and both played together in the last Bulgarian NBL game. Dubrovina couldn't help one of league's weakest teams one of league's weakest teams Neftochimic (18-6) in their game against Dunav 8806 (22-2). Despite her very good performance in Thursday night's game She was the second best scorer with 13 points. Dubrovina also added 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists. Dubrovina belongs to league's top scorers (ranked #7) and also on the list of best passers (fourth place). This season she has very high stats. Dubrovina averages: 15.8ppg, 4.5rpg, 4.5apg and 2.6spg. Despite she played previously for the Russian national team, Dubrovina is currently in the Ukrainian national team roster.

   #5. International center Viktoria Mircheva (190-87) contributed to an easy victory against the second-ranked Frisco Sika (24-8) crushing them 82-52 in the Czech Republic ZBL last Tuesday. She scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in only 8 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in Group A1. ZVVZ USK Praha (32-0) is placed first. So far her team won all games in the Finals. This year Mircheva's total stats are: 5.9ppg and 2.9rpg in the 13 games. Despite she played previously for the Russian national team, Mircheva is currently in the Ukrainian national team roster.

   #6. An experienced power forward Olena Zherzherunova (191-78, another player represented by LBM Management) led CSM Targoviste to a victory against the sixth-ranked Targu Mures (19-9) 71-66 in the Romanian D1 on Wednesday night. She scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. CSM Targoviste (29-1) is placed first in the D1. It was her team's 13th consecutive victory in a row. It's Zherzherunova's first season with the team. This year Zherzherunova has relatively solid stats: 11.7ppg, 7.5rpg, 1.7apg, 1.2bpg and 1.6spg. Despite she played previously for the Russian national team, Zherzherunova is also an international player who is currently on the senior Ukrainian National Team roster.

   #7. International power forward Katia Levitsky (190-85, agency: Data Plus Group, college: Villanova) contributed to a Elitzur Ramla's victory against the league leader Maccabi Ashdod (15-5) 68-60 in the Israeli D1 in Monday night's game. She scored 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 15 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Elitzur Ramla (15-5) is placed second in the D1. Levitsky has averaged so far 7.2ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.7apg in the 24 games. Despite she played previously for the Israeli national team, Levitsky is currently in the Ukrainian national team roster.

   #8. Center Taisiia Bovykina (190-89, another player represented by LBM Management) helped Dunkerque win their game against the closely-ranked SIG (9-17) 69-61 in the French LF2 (12th division) last Saturday. She scored 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Dunkerque Malo Basket Club (11-15) is placed ninth in the LF2. The Regular Season already ended. Bovykina has reliable stats this season: 10.5ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.5apg and 1.2spg. Despite she played previously for the Israeli national team, Bovykina is currently in the Ukrainian national team roster.

International swingman Olena Samburska (172-89, another player represented by LBM Management) is a teammate of previously mentioned Olena Zherzherunova and both played together in the last Romanian D1 game. Samburska helped CSM Targoviste win their game against the sixth-ranked Targu Mures (19-9) 71-66. She scored 6 points in 24 minutes. Samburska has averaged so far 9.7ppg, 1.9rpg, 1.7apg and 1.7spg in the 27 games. Despite she played previously for the Israeli national team, Samburska is currently in the Ukrainian national team roster.

   #10. Power forward Olesia Malashenko (189-91, another player represented by LBM Management) couldn't help Vologda-Chevakata (10-8) in their game against Dynamo Moscow (6-12) in the Russian PBL. She recorded 6 points. Vologda-Chevakata was defeated 74-61 in Moscow by the lower-ranked Dynamo (#7). Malashenko has averaged so far 7.4ppg and 2.7rpg. Despite she played previously for the Israeli national team, Malashenko is also a former international player as two years ago she still played for the Ukrainian senior national team.

   #11. International center Aleksandra Khomenchuk (200-89) led Gorizont to a victory over the second-ranked Minsk-2006 66-51 in a derby game in the Belarusian Premier League last Saturday. She was MVP of the game. Khomenchuk recorded 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in a mere 19 minutes. Khomenchuk is ranked third on the list of the top scorers in the league and also on the list of best blockers (fifth place). She has very reliable stats this year: 12.4ppg, 7.7rpg and 1.1apg in the 24 games. Despite Khomenchuk played previously for the Russian national team, she is currently in the Ukrainian national team roster.

   #12. International forward Anna Pokoiova (188-87, agency: Promotex) helped Olimpia GrGAU win their game against the fourth-ranked Berezina-RCOR crushing them 84-63 in the Belarusian Premier League on Saturday night. Pokoiova recorded 14 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. She has averaged so far 8.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.1apg and 1.2spg. Despite Pokoiova played previously for the Russian national team, she is currently in the Ukrainian national team roster.

   #13. International center Lyubov Alyoshkina (203-81) is a teammate of previously mentioned Anna Pokoiova. However that was another game of her team in Belarusian Premier League which brought her to that list. Alyoshkina couldn't help Olimpia GrGAU in their game against Gorizont. She recorded 8 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in 37 minutes. Her team lost 65-72. Alyoshkina is currently second on the league's list of best rebounders with 10.1rpg. She also averaged so far 8.6ppg in the 19 games. Despite Alyoshkina played previously for the Russian national team, she is currently in the Ukrainian national team roster.

   #14. Former U20 international guard Victoria Shmatova (170-87) is a teammate of previously mentioned Anna Pokoiova and both played together in the last Belarusian Premier League game. Shmatova helped Olimpia GrGAU win their game against the fourth-ranked Berezina-RCOR crushing them 84-63. She recorded 9 points. Shmatova's stats this season are: 10.2ppg, 2.8rpg and 1.8apg. Despite she played previously for the Russian national team, Shmatova is currently in the Ukrainian U20 national team roster.

D'Andra Moss(178-SG-88, college: VCU, agency: LBM Management) has been invited into the Ukrainian National Team training camp. She is expected to join the National Team in the remaining 2017 EuroBasket qualifying games. Ukraine leads Qualifying Round Group D after claiming four wins in as many games. National League Round 17 (Second Stage): SDYUSHOR-4 beats SDYUSHOR-5 by one after a very close game - May 15, 2016

There will be only one (last) round of the Second Stage in National League. Coincidentally all hosts won their games. The most exciting game of round 17 in the National League took place in Mykolaiv. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed SDYUSHOR-5 (7-4) to second ranked SDYUSHOR-4 (10-6) 76-75 on Friday evening.
