Lithuania U16 - Ukraine U16 82:71

Lithuania occupied the 11th overall place at U16 European Championship. The hosts fired past Ukraine tonight. Matas Budrys (193-G/F-96) stepped up with 20 points to pace the Baltic team.
Lithuania ensured a 5:0 start to the game and dominated throughout the opening quarter. They posted a 22:16 lead ten minutes into the game. Ukraine managed to level things up at 25 midway through the second term but the hosts secured a 33:31 halftime advantage. The lead changed hands throughout the third period but Lithuania finished it strongly to pile up a 7-point advantage 56:49. Matas Budrys and Rupkus made it 61:49 for Lithuania at the start of the fourth period. Ukraine never recovered in the following minutes as the home team cruised to the victory. Aidas Einikis (191-SG-96) accounted for 16 points, while Domantas Pavlovskis (206-C-96) and Dominykas Zupkauskas (184-PG-96) added 10 points each in the victory. Oleksandr Kobets (192-SF-96) responded with 25 points for Ukraine. Illya Sydorov (183-PG-96) and Nikita Voievoda (180-PG-96) chipped in 8 points each in the loss.

In ten SL Favorit Sport games he had 14.8ppg, 3.9rpg and 2.2apg. 28-year old guard Maksim Zozulia (190-88). He has played there for the last nine seasons. In 11 Superleague games he recorded 3.0ppg and 1.7rpg last season.
