U20 UKRAINE - U20 SERBIA 85-63

Ukraine cruised past Serbia 85-63 in the last day of the second stage in Debrecen. Thanks to this win Ukraine finished as the second ranked team of Group F with 3-2 record and advanced to the Quarterfinals. There, Ukraine's rival will be Holland. Serbia closes the standings in this pool with 1-4. They will continue in Classification Round from 9th-12th places. In the first game Serbia will play against Poland. Alina Iagupova (186-G-92, agency: LBM Management) once again was a key player in Ukraine with triple-double of 24 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists (valuation 36!). Oleksandra Chek (191-C-93, agency: New Trend Agency) scored 22 points and Lyudmyla Naumenko (184-F-93) added 14 points, plus 5 rebs. In defeat, Snezana Colic (178-G-92) (6 rebs) and Natasa Kovacevic (187-F-94) posted 12 points each. Ivana Brajkovic (195-C-93) added 10 points and 6 rebs. Ukraine dominated during the entire game: 26-17, 21-15, 18-13, 20-18. All teams will take a rest today and will continue with games on Friday.
