Miroslav Raduljica gets MVP of the Week award for Ukrainian Superleague - Oct 3, 2012

Serbian Miroslav Raduljica (213-C-88) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's second-best Azovmash and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 24-year old center had the game-high 21 points adding four rebounds for Azovmash in his team's victory, helping them to beat Mykolaiv (#12, 0-1) 83-72. Azovmash is placed at 2nd position in Ukrainian Superleague. Azovmash will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Raduljica as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Miroslav Raduljica averages just after three games 10.0ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Azovmash's star - 26-year old Serbian power forward Tadija Dragicevic (206-F/C-86, agency: Beo Basket). Dragicevic impressed basketball fans with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course Azovmash cruised to a 83-72 relatively comfortable win over Mykolaiv (0-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Dragicevic is a newcomer at Azovmash and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 13.3ppg (#9). He also registered 8.7 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Doron Perkins (188-PG-83) of BC Donetsk (#8). Perkins showcased his all-around game by recording 12 points, seven rebounds and ten assists (!!!) in the last round. Despite Perkins' great performance BC Donetsk lost 73-81 to Khimik (#1, 2-0). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing BC Donetsk needs is to lose another game like this one. Their record is 1 victory and 1 lost game. The season just started for Perkins as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Arminas Urbutis (205-C/F-86) of Mykolaiv - 15 points and 4 rebounds
5. Darius Songaila (204-C/F-78) of BC Donetsk - 14 points and 9 rebounds
6. Oleksiy Pecherov (213-C-85) of Azovmash - 8 points and 6 rebounds
7. D'or Fischer (211-C-81) of BC Donetsk - 11 points and 7 rebounds
8. Suad Sehovic (196-G/F-87) of Khimik - 19 points
9. Ramel Curry (192-G-80) of BC Donetsk - 14 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Rinalds Sirsnins (186-PG-85) of Mykolaiv - 10 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
