There were just four rounds played in Regular Season of Superleague and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places.

The most exciting game of round 4 in the Superleague took place in Cherkasy. This game ended with only two-point home defeat of 7th ranked Cherkasy (1-2) to second ranked Azovmash (3-1) 75-73 on Thursday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The guests trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 23-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Lynn Greer (186-79, college: Temple) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. International forward Kyryl Natyazhko (207-90, college: Arizona, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) for the winners. Azovmash's coach Aleksandar Kesar used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Montenegrin point guard Ivan Koljevic (187-84, agency: New Trend Agency) replied with 21 points and 6 assists for Cherkasy. Azovmash keeps a position of league leader. Cherkasy at the other side dropped to the ninth place with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Bottom-ranked Mykolaiv is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their second consecutive match to eighth ranked BC Donetsk (2-1) 91-75. Worth to mention a great performance of FYR Macedonian guard Vojdan Stojanovski (194-87) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 rebounds and Darius Songaila who added 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. BC Donetsk's coach Vlada Jovanovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American guard Josh Mayo (182-87, college: Ill.-Chicago, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) responded with 23 points. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Mykolaiv at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with BC Odessa and Dnipro. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.


BC Donetsk - Mykolaiv 91-75

Bottom-ranked Mykolaiv is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their second consecutive match to eighth ranked BC Donetsk (2-1) 91-75. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when BC Donetsk's pressure prevailed and they won that period 27-17 extending their advantage to 16 points. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Mykolaiv's 28. BC Donetsk players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of FYR Macedonian guard Vojdan Stojanovski (194-87) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 rebounds and Lithuanian power forward Darius Songaila (204-78, college: Wake Forest, agency: Priority Sports) who added 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four BC Donetsk players scored in double figures. BC Donetsk's coach Vlada Jovanovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American guard Josh Mayo (182-87, college: Ill.-Chicago, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) responded with 23 points and his fellow American import swingman Dwayne Mitchell (196-82, college: La-Lafayette, agency: Interperformances) scored 15 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Mykolaiv at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with BC Odessa and Dnipro. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

SK Cherkasy Monkeys (Superleague) signed experienced 34-year old Russian-Nigerian center Aleksey Adediran (202-110kg-82, college: Binghamton). He played last season at Energy Invest Rustavi in Georgia Superleague. In 6 games he had just 2.5ppg and 1.2rpg. BC Kremen Kremenchuk (Superleague) confirmed in their roster American point guard Rob Woodson (180-84kg, college: Grand Valley State). He played there last season. SK Cherkasy Monkeys (Superleague) tabbed 23-year old American forward Mike Best (208-98kg-93). He just graduated from Cal-Irvine (NCAA). Best has played there for the last five years. In 38 games he averaged 9.8ppg and 5.1rpg last season. Best helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team.
