The game in Dniprodzerzhynsk supposed to be quite interesting. Sixth ranked BC Donetsk (3-1) played at the court of 8th ranked DniproAzot (1-3). BC Donetsk smashed DniproAzot 80-59 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by BC Donetsk. DniproAzot managed to win fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BC Donetsk looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by DniproAzot's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when BC Donetsk made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of international Maksym Pustozvonov (200-87, agency: Beo Basket) who helped to win the game recording 17 points. American guard Ramel Curry (192-80, college: CSU Bakersfield) contributed with 16 points for the winners.
