American Manny Harris (196-G-89) put on an amazing game in the last round for Azovmash and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 22. The 23-year old guard had a double-double of 23 points and eleven rebounds, while his team beat DniproAzot (#12, 4-10) 90-76. Azovmash is placed at 4th position in Ukrainian Superleague. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Azovmash will need more victories to improve their 9-4 record. In the team's last game Harris had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Azovmash's top player in his first season with the team. Manny Harris averages this season 18.6ppg and 7.0rpg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 26-year old American forward Charles Thomas (203-F-86) of Cherkasy. Thomas impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 26 points and 12 rebounds. Of course Cherkasy cruised to a 72-65 relatively comfortable win over Kryvbasbasket (6-8). This victory allowed Cherkasy to move up to 8th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-8 record. Thomas is a newcomer at Cherkasy and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.4ppg (#3). He also registered 5.8 boards per game.
The third best performed player last round was American Kyndall Dykes (190-SG-87, agency: Edge Sports) of Hoverla (#5). Dykes scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds. He was a key player of Hoverla, leading his team to a 79-67 win against the lower-ranked BC Kyiv (#13, 3-11). Hoverla needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 5 lost games. Dykes has a great season in Ukraine. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.9ppg (4th best). Dykes attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
