Ilya Shemosyuk (188-G-85) had an amazing evening in the last round for Pulsar and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Higher League Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 27-year old guard had the game-high 40 points adding seven rebounds and three assists for Pulsar as his team lost the game against Khartsyzsk (#2, 9-1) 64-83. Pulsar maintains the 7th position in Ukrainian Higher League. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Pulsar have already lost 8 games and recorded just two victories. In the team's last game Shemosyuk had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. It's his second year at Pulsar and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Shemosyuk has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 24.2ppg. Shemosyuk is in league's top in assists (4th best: 4.7apg) and averages solid 2.5spg and 53.7% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Anton Rochnyak (206-F-91) of Avantazh-Pol.. Rochnyak impressed basketball fans with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he lead Avantazh-Pol. to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Koksokh-Stal (#8, 2-8) 109-71. Avantazh-Pol.'s 3rd position in the standings has not changed. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 6 games without any defeat. Rochnyak is one of the most experienced players at Avantazh-Pol. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.3ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 9.7rpg and 3.2apg.

The third best performed player last round was another Avantazh-Pol.'s star - former international guard Timur Arabadzhi (192-G-81). Arabadzhi scored 21 points and passed five assists. He was another key player of Avantazh-Pol., helping his team with a 109-71 easy win against the lower-ranked Koksokh-Stal (#8, 2-8). Avantazh-Pol. started extremely well this year. They recorded 6 victories without losing a single game. Arabadzhi turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Arabadzhi has a great season in Ukraine. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.0ppg (2nd best) and assists with 4.7apg (3rd best). He also has FGP: 72.7% and 3PT: 42.3%.

9. Igor Chumichev (209-C-89) of BK Kremen - 15 points and 8 rebounds
10. Ivan Gusarov (190-G-87) of Kirovograd - 17 points and 2 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Calvin Godfrey (206-F-90, college: Memphis) is a newcomer of Budivelnyk Kyiv, for a tryout first. He already showed himself in a friendly game against "Zolotyj Vik", where he made 8 pts + 4 reb + 3 as. A 26-years old foward comes from Memphis NCAA, where he was trasnferred for the opportunity to play on a bigger stage. SC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih clinched the victory at the pre-season tournament Hovorunov's memorial. Henry Dugat (183-PG-87, college: Baylor) nailed amazing 27 pts, 5 reb, 4 as, Pavlo Krutous (195-G/F-92, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 13 pts and Vitaliy Zotov (186-PG-97, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) 10 pts.
