Budivelnyk clinched the second win in EuroCup Group A. The Kyiv team held off Hapoel Jerusalem at home court. Malcolm Delaney (191-G-89, college: Virginia Tech) knocked down 22 points to pace the hosts. Jerusalem fell at 1-3 record after the loss.
The Israeli team enjoyed a 26:24 lead after ten minutes. Budivelnyk slowed the visitors down in the second frame. The hosts pulled ahead for a 46:44 halftime advantage. The Kyiv team stiffened defensively in the third term. They limited Jerusalem at 14 points in the quarter and accumulated a 62:58 lead at the final intermission. Hapoel tipped off the fourth frame with 7 points in a row to surge ahead. The Israeli team entered the final minute of the clash up by one point 77:76. However Tsintsadze sank three consecutive free throws and then Malcolm Delaney added a three-pointer to give Budivelnyk an 82:77 lead. Tsintsadze followed with two more free throws to seal the victory. Leo Lyons (206-F-87, agency: Edge Sports, college: Missouri) accounted for 20 points and 8 rebounds, while Artur Drozdov (200-SF-80) added 18 points and 12 rebounds for the hosts. Jacob Pullen (185-PG-89, college: Kansas St.) answered with 22 points for Hapoel. Courtney Fells (198-SF-86, college: N.Carolina St.) had 19 points and 9 rebounds in defeat.

SK Cherkasy Monkeys (SL Favorit Sport) signed 26-year old domestic guard Nikola Polyulyak (192-84kg-90, agency: AproK Sports Group). He played last season at VolinBasket (SL Favorit Sport). In 34 games he had 13.8ppg, 4.8rpg, 3.7apg and 1.3spg. The previous (14-15) season Polyulyak played at Halychyna (Superleague). Avtodor Saratov (VTB) landed 24-year old American point guard Branden Frazier (190-77kg-92, college: Fordham). He played most recently at Khimik in Ukrainian SL Favorit Sport. In 40 games he averaged 10.8ppg, 3.5rpg, 4.4apg (top 3) and 1.4spg last season. He helped them to win the league title and the cup. AS Monaco Basket (ProA) is about to confirm 28-year old Ukrainian ex-international swingman Sergii Gladyr (196-94kg-88, agency: BeoBasket). He played there last season. In 39 ProB games he had 7.5ppg, 3.3rpg and 1.0apg. He helped them to win the cup. The previous (14-15) season Gladyr played at Sluc Nancy.
