#1. This week's number one is an international guard Steven Burtt (185-84, college: Iona, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL. He could not help Tofas (3-5) in their last game. Despite Burtt's very good performance Tofas lost 77-85 on the road to the much higher-ranked (#4) Banvit BK.
He was the top scorer with 26 points. Burtt also added 8 passes in 36 minutes on the court.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
It's Burtt's first year with the team.
Burtt is currently fifth on the list of top scorers with 16.9ppg.
He also averaged so far 2.5rpg, 4.1apg, 2FGP: 55.1%(38-69), 3FGP: 33.3% in the eight games he played so far.
Burtt is a naturalized American.
He is currently a member of the Ukrainian senior national team. Burtt used to play for Ferro-ZNTU Zaporozhye in Ukrainian league.
#2. Second place goes to an international power forward Serhiy Lishchuk (210-82, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Spain). Lishchuk managed to help Valencia Basket in a 3-point victoryagainst the closely-ranked Regal FC Barcelona (6-4) 81-78 in the Spanish ACB on Sunday night.
He scored only 2 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 11 minutes.
Valencia Basket (8-2) is placed third in the ACB.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
Lishchuk is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Valencia Basket's roster.
This season Lishchuk averages: 7.4ppg, 3.6rpg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 53.7% and FT: 85.2% in the nine games.
He played for the Ukrainian national team in 2011.
#3. The Ukrainian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international shooting guard Sergii Gladyr (196-88, currently plays in Spain). Gladyr led Baloncesto Fuenlabrada to an overtime victory against the tenth-ranked Blancos de Rueda (5-5) 104-102 in the Spanish ACB last Saturday.
He recorded 14 points in 37 minutes.
Mad-Croc Fuenlabrada (2-8) is placed 15th in the ACB.
They ended the series of four consecutive loses.
But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go.
It's Gladyr's first season with the team.
This year Gladyr's overall stats are: 9.9ppg, 3.3rpg, 2FGP: 58.1%(18-31), 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 91.3%(21-23) in the 10 games.
He is also a member of the Ukrainian senior national team.
#4. Center Alex Len (216-93, currently plays college basketball in the States) led Maryland to an easy victory against the Northwestern University crushing them 77-57 in the NCAA in Tuesday night's game.
He had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting the same number of rebounds. Len also added 2 blocks in 24 minutes.
The University of Maryland has conference record this season.
Len has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 16.4ppg and 5.9rpg in the eight games.
Len is also Ukrainian U20 national team player.
#5. Former U20 international forward Vladyslav Kondratyev (203-90, currently studies in the States) contributed to a 2-point Bryant's victory against the Boston College 56-54 in the NCAA last Sunday.
Kondratyev scored only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 19 minutes.
The Bryant University has conference record this season.
Kondratyev has been at the team for four years.
This year his total stats are: 8.6ppg and 5.4rpg in the seven games.
Kondratyev used to play for the Ukrainian U20 national team
two years ago.

#1.Rinalds Sirsnins (186-PG-85, currently plays in Latvia) was the major contributor in Jekabpils' victory against the eighth-ranked Jelgava (4-6) 104-103 in the Latvian LBL last Sunday.
He scored 22 points and added 8 passes.
BK Jekabpils (6-6) is placed fourth in the LBL.
It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.
It's Sirsnins' first season with the team.
Sirsnins has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 18.5ppg, 2.5rpg and 7.0apg.
#2.Sergei Dadukin (198-F-83, currently plays in Belarus) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Svisloch (1-8) crushing them 94-69 in the Belarusian Premier League in Friday night's game.
Dadukin scored 9 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
BK Sozh Gomel (7-1) is placed second in the Premier League.
It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen.
Dadukin is currently second on the list of best rebounders.
He has very reliable stats this season: 12.0ppg, 8.9rpg, 2.7apg and 1.1spg.
#3.Sergei Miakinin (206-F/C-86, currently plays in Belarus) is a teammate of previously mentioned Sergei Dadukin and both played together in the last Belarusian Premier League game.

He scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
Miakinin belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #4.
This season he has very high stats. Miakinin averages: 16.4ppg and 5.9rpg.
#4.Maksym Shtein (206-C-80, agency: Limelight Hoops, currently plays in Germany) contributed to a Weissenhorn Youngstars' victory against the fifth-ranked Licher Baeren (6-4) 68-58 in the German ProB (third division) last Saturday.
He scored 10 points, had 8 rebounds and made 2 blocks.
Weissenhorn Youngstars (7-3) is placed second in Group South.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
Shtein's total stats this season are: 6.1ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.7apg.
He has a dual citizenship: Ukrainian and German.
#5.Ivan Kaliayev (201-F-87, currently plays in Belarus) is a teammate of previously mentioned Sergei Dadukin. He played also in the last Belarusian Premier League game facing Sergei Miakinin (above) in the other team.
Kaliayev managed to help BK Sozh Gomel in a victory against one of league's weakest teams Svisloch (1-8) crushing them 94-69.
He scored only 2 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 18 minutes.
This year Kaliayev's total stats are: 8.0ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.8apg and 1.6spg in the eight games he played so far.
#6.Igor Nesterenko (201-C/F-90, currently plays in Israel), who plays in the Israeli National League (second division) could not help Elitzur Yavne to beat Ironi Nes-Ziona.
He scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
His team was badly defeated by 20 points 98-78.
Nesterenko's total stats this season are: 8.6ppg and 5.4rpg.
He is another player who holds two passports: Ukrainian and Israeli.
Despite Nesterenko's Ukrainian nationality, he previously played for the Israeli U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Ukrainian team.

Azovmash gained the lead in the title series beating visiting Budivelnyk in Mariupol. The game was mostly controlled by Azovmash. Budivelnyk managed to win second period 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Serbian power forward Tadija Dragicevic (206-86, agency: Beo Basket) helped adding 18 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Leo Lyons (206-87, college: Missouri, agency: Edge Sports) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and Georgian point guard Georgi Tsintsadze (192-86) scored 13 points and 7 assists. Halychyna have secured the services of Leonid Stefanishin (199-F-85) and Sergei Alferov (189-PG-84) for the next season.
Leonid Stefanishin will enter the second season with the Lviv team. He joined Halychyna at the start of the season. The forward posted 6.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game in Superleague. Last season Leonid Stefanishin played for Budivelnyk Kyiv. His stats read 1.2 points per game. #1. This week's number one is former international power forward Serhiy Lishchuk (210-82, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Spain). He contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Assignia Manresa (6-28) crushing them 90-59 in the Spanish ACB in Sunday night's game.
Lishchuk recorded 10 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks in only 12 minutes on the court.
Valencia Basket (22-12) is placed fourth in the ACB.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
It's Lishchuk's fourth season with the team.
This year he averages: 6.4ppg, 3.3rpg, 2FGP: 56.7%(59-104) and FT: 76.6% in the 26 games he played so far.
Lishchuk played for the Ukrainian senior national team two years ago.

He was MVP of the game. Konate had a double-double by scoring 27 points and getting 13 rebounds in 37 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Championship. BK Svisloch Osipovichi (13-17) is placed third.
Konate is currently third on the league's list of top scorers and also on the list of best rebounders (first place).
He has individually a very good year with high stats. Konate averages: 18.0ppg, 11.5rpg, 1.5apg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 53.5%, 3FGP: 30.4% and FT: 53.1% in the 25 games.
He played for the Ukrainian U20 national team in 2010.
#3. The Ukrainian player who performed third best last week abroad was former U20 international guard Maksym Ozhegov (190-90, currently plays in Belarus) faced previously mentioned Maks Adam Konate in the Belarusian Premier League last game.
Ozhegov, who plays in the Belarusian Premier League. He could not help Sozh Gomel (20-10) in their last game on Friday. Despite Ozhegov's very good performance the second-placed Sozh Gomel was edged 79-77 on the road by the lower-ranked Svisloch (#3) in the Championship group.
He scored 15 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
Ozhegov's overall stats this season are: 4.8ppg, 1.7rpg, 2FGP: 46.4%, 3FGP: 30.6% and FT: 71.0%.
He played for the Ukrainian U20 national team three years ago.
#4. Shooting guard Sergii Gladyr (196-88, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (12-22) in their game against CAI Zaragoza (21-13) in the Spanish ACB.
Gladyr was the second best scorer with 9 points. He also added 4 rebounds.
But Baloncesto Fuenlabrada was crushed 80-57 in Zaragoza by the much higher-ranked CAI Zaragoza (#5).
It was Baloncesto Fuenlabrada's fourth consecutive loss in a row.
The Regular Season already ended.
Gladyr's overall stats this season are: 9.4ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.1spg.
He is also Ukrainian national team player.
#5. Burtt is currently first on the league's list of top scorers and also on the list of best passers (first place).
He has very impressive stats this year: 20.3ppg, 3.7rpg, 5.6apg and 1.7spg in the 18 games.
Burtt is a naturalized American.
He plays currently for the Ukrainian national team.
Burtt used to play for Ferro-ZNTU Zaporozhye in Ukrainian league.
#6. Forward Dmytro Khodov (203-87, currently plays in Belarus) is a teammate of previously mentioned Maksym Ozhegov. But that was another game of his team in Belarusian Premier League which we would like to mention.
Khodov contributed to a 2-point Sozh Gomel's victory against the third-ranked Svisloch (13-17) 88-86.
He scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Championship. BK Sozh Gomel (20-10) is placed second.
Khodov has relatively good stats this season: 11.2ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.2apg.
He is a former university international player as he played for the Ukrainian team two years ago.
#7. An experienced former University international guard Pavel Agapov (198-79, currently plays in Russia) couldn't help Ataman (16-12) in their game against Ural Ekaterinburg (22-6) in the Russian Superleague (second division). He cannot count Tuesday's game as one of the best ones.
Agapov scored only 3 points in 22 minutes.
Ataman was crushed 89-56 on their home court in Rostov by the second-ranked Ural Ekaterinburg.
This year Agapov's overall stats are: 6.2ppg and 3.3rpg in the 34 games.
He used to play for the Ukrainian university national team
ten years ago.
