Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Ukrainians who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international guard Steven Burtt (185-84, college: Iona, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL. He could not help Tofas (4-5) in their last game. Despite Burtt's very good performance Tofas lost 77-85 on the road to the higher-ranked (#4) Banvit BK. He was the top scorer with 26 points. Burtt also added 8 passes in 36 minutes on the court. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Burtt's first year with the team. Burtt is currently seventh on the list of top scorers and also on the list of best passers (sixth place). He has individually a very good year with high stats. Burtt averages: 17.3ppg, 2.7rpg, 4.4apg, 2FGP: 54.1%, 3FGP: 39.1% and FT: 81.5% in the nine games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Burtt is currently a member of the Ukrainian senior national team. He used to play for Ferro-ZNTU Zaporozhye in Ukrainian league.

   #2. Second place goes to an international point guard Klym Artamonov (183-93, currently plays in Baltic League). Artamonov contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Naglis Palangos (3-4) crushing them 86-47 in the Baltic League in Tuesday night's game. He scored 9 points, made 4 passes and 3 steals. BC Siauliai (6-2) is placed second in group A. There are only two games left until the end of the Baltic League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Artamonov's first season with the team. Artamonov is ranked fourth on the list of the best passers in the league. His overall stats this season are: 4.6ppg, 2.1rpg, 4.5apg, 2FGP: 37.5%, 3FGP: 30.8%. Artamonov is in the roster of the Ukrainian senior national team.

   #3. The Ukrainian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international shooting guard Sergii Gladyr (196-88, currently plays in Spain). He led Baloncesto Fuenlabrada to an overtime victory against the tenth-ranked Blancos de Rueda (5-5) 104-102 in the Spanish ACB last Saturday. Gladyr recorded 14 points in 37 minutes. Mad-Croc Fuenlabrada (2-8) is placed 15th in the ACB. They ended the series of four consecutive loses. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Gladyr's overall stats are: 9.9ppg, 3.3rpg, 2FGP: 58.1%(18-31), 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 91.3%(21-23) in the 10 games. He is also a member of the Ukrainian senior national team.

   #4. Center Alex Len (216-93, currently plays college basketball in the States) led Maryland to a victory against the George Mason University 69-62 in the NCAA last Sunday. He scored 12 points, had 9 rebounds and made 3 blocks. The University of Maryland has conference record this season. Len's total stats this year are: 8.0ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.7apg and 1.7spg. He is also Ukrainian U20 national team player.

   #5. Former U20 international center Olexandr Berhin (205-85, currently plays in Russia), who plays in the Russian Superleague (second division) was not able to help Volgograd (1-8) in their last game on Friday. Despite Berhin's very good performance Volgograd was defeated 85-80 in Saratov by the higher-ranked Avtodor (#9). He was the top scorer with 17 points. Berhin also added 2 shots. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. Berhin's total stats this season are: 9.3ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.1apg. He used to play for the Ukrainian U20 national team seven years ago.

   #6. Guard Vitaly Boyko (183-82, currently plays in Russia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Olexandr Berhin and both played together in the last Russian Superleague game. Boyko, who plays in the Russian Superleague (second division) was not able to secure a victory for Volgograd (1-8) in their last game. Despite his good performance Volgograd lost 80-85 in Saratov to the higher-ranked (#9) Avtodor. Boyko recorded 14 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists in 37 minutes. Boyko has relatively good stats this year: 14.5ppg, 4.4rpg, 3.3apg and 1.4spg in the eight games. He is a former international player as he played for the Ukrainian senior team six years ago.

   #7. Former U20 international forward Vladyslav Kondratyev (203-90, currently studies in the States) managed to help Bryant University in a victory against the Binghamton University crushing them 78-56 in the NCAA in Saturday night's game. Kondratyev scored only 2 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 13 minutes. The Bryant University has conference record this season. Kondratyev is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Bryant's roster. This season his total stats are: 8.5ppg and 5.5rpg in the eight games. Kondratyev used to play for the Ukrainian U20 national team two years ago.

   #8. Guard Pavel Agapov (198-79, currently plays in Russia) contributed to an easy victory against the 12th-ranked Severstal (3-7) 74-59 in the Russian Superleague (second division) last Friday. He recorded only 2 points. Ataman Rostov (8-2) is placed first in the Superleague. Agapov has averaged so far 2.0ppg and 1.7rpg. He used to play for the Ukrainian university national team back in 2003.

   #9. Former international guard Dmitri Dyatlovsky (196-85, agency: Promotex, currently plays in Baltic League) contributed to a Barsy Atyrau's victory against the sixth-ranked Rapla (1-7) 93-88 in the Baltic League last Saturday. He scored 14 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 35 minutes. Barsy Atyrau (4-3) is placed third in group A. There are only three games left until the end of the Baltic League Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Dyatlovsky has averaged so far 9.6ppg, 2.6rpg and 2.3apg in the seven games. He used to play for the Ukrainian national team eight years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Ukrainian passport but never been selected to any of Ukrainian national teams:

   #1. Sergei Dadukin (198-F-83, currently plays in Belarus) led Sozh Gomel to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Impuls BGUIR (3-7) crushing them 99-57 in the Belarusian Premier League last Friday. Dadukin recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 21 rebounds. He also added 5 assists and 3 steals. BK Sozh Gomel (8-2) is placed second in the Premier League. Dadukin is currently ninth on the list of top scorers and also on the list of best rebounders (first place). He has very reliable stats this season: 13.8ppg, 10.3rpg, 3.0apg and 1.7spg.

   #2. Sergei Miakinin (206-F/C-86, currently plays in Belarus) is a teammate of previously mentioned Sergei Dadukin. But that was another game of his team in Belarusian Premier League which we would like to mention. Miakinin, who plays in the Belarusian Premier League could not help one of league's weakest teams Sozh Gomel (8-2) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Sozh Gomel lost 78-90 on the road to the leading Grodno-93. Miakinin recorded 20 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 34 minutes. It's Miakinin's first season with the team. Miakinin is currently third on the list of top scorers with 16.4ppg. This year his other stats are: 5.9rpg in the 10 games he played so far.

   #3. Rinalds Sirsnins (186-PG-85, currently plays in Latvia), who plays in the Latvian LBL was not able to help Jekabpils (6-7) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Sirsnins' good performance Jekabpils was defeated 93-86 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked Jelgava (#8). He scored 12 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Sirsnins has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 16.3ppg, 4.3rpg and 5.7apg.

   #4. Ivan Kaliayev (201-F-87, currently plays in Belarus) is a teammate of previously mentioned Sergei Dadukin and both played together in the last Belarusian Premier League game. Kaliayev contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Impuls BGUIR (3-7) crushing them 99-57. He scored 9 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 23 minutes. This year Kaliayev's total stats are: 8.0ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.7apg and 1.7spg in the 10 games.

   #5. Maksym Shtein (206-C-80, agency: Limelight Hoops, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German ProB (third division) was not able to secure a victory for Weissenhorn Youngstars (7-4) in their last game. Despite Shtein's very good performance the second-placed Weissenhorn Youngstars lost 78-86 in Langen to the lower-ranked (#5) TV 1862 in the Group South. He was the second best scorer with 15 points in 36 minutes. It was Weissenhorn Youngstars' first loss after four consecutive victories. This year Shtein's total stats are: 6.9ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.7apg in the 11 games. He has a dual citizenship: Ukrainian and German.

   #6. Igor Nesterenko (201-C/F-90, currently plays in Israel) contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Ironi Nahariya crushing them 103-65 in the Israeli National League (second division) on Tuesday night. Nesterenko scored 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Nesterenko's total stats this season are: 8.5ppg and 5.5rpg. He is another player who holds two passports: Ukrainian and Israeli. Despite Nesterenko's Ukrainian nationality, he previously played for the Israeli U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Ukrainian team.

   #7. Experienced Dmitro Gerasymenko (199-F-78, currently plays in Russia) couldn't help Volgograd in their game against Avtodor in the Russian Superleague (second division). Gerasymenko recorded 5 points in 5 minutes. His team lost 80-85. Gerasymenko has averaged so far 4.3ppg and 2.2rpg in the six games.

   #8. Vadim Matyukevych (208-C-80, currently plays in Baltic League) was the major contributor in a Barsy Atyrau's victory against the sixth-ranked Rapla 93-88 in the Baltic League in Saturday night's game. He scored 15 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Matyukevych is ranked fifth on the list of the top scorers in the league and also on the list of best rebounders (third place). This season he has very high stats. Matyukevych averages: 16.4ppg and 9.6rpg.

American Brandon Fields (193-G-88) had a great game in the last round for league's leader Budivelnyk and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 34. The 28-year old guard got a double-double of 21 points and ten assists, while his team outclassed Mykolaiv (#7, 11-16) with 38-point margin 118-80. 27-year old forward Maxim Nikitin (201-F-89) had a very impressive game in the last round for Niko-Basket and receives a Eurobasket.com Higher League Player of the Week award for round 5 (Second Stage). He had a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Politekhn.Lvov (#5, 9-7) 86-98. Niko-Basket moved-up to the 8th position in Ukrainian Higher League. Superleague Round 34: Leader Budivelnyk gets another victory - 3 days ago
The Regular Season in Superleague just ended. Host teams show no mercy winning all games. Leader Budivelnyk delivered the twenty fifth victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 7th ranked Mykolaiv (11-16) 118-80 in Kyiv. The game was mostly controlled by Budivelnyk. Mykolaiv managed to win second period 22-18.
