An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Donetsk. First ranked Musson faced second-ranked Khartsyzsk. Guests from Symferopil (15-1) defeated host Khartsyzsk (12-2) 77-67. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Khartsyzsk. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-67. Musson dominated on the defensive end, holding Khartsyzsk to just 7 points in second quarter. They made 25-of-33 free shots (75.8 percent) during the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Khartsyzsk helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Russian center Dmitri Lipovtsev (207-C-86) who scored 31 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Igor Kozhevatov (195-88) chipped in 9 points and 8 rebounds. point guard Pavlo Copich (180-86) produced 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the hosts. Khartsyzsk's coach Vladimir Bryaukhavetshy rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Musson maintains first place with 15-1 record. Khartsyzsk at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. Musson are looking forward to face Avantazh-Politekhnik (#3) in Kharkov in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Khartsyzsk will play on the road against Ternopil-TNEU and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.

Koksokh-Stal will meet higher ranked Tornado (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ternopil-TNEU will play against the league's second-placed Khartsyzsk (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.

Vadim Reka nailed 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for VolinBasket. They maintain sixth place with 6-4 record. Tornado lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourth position with seven games lost. VolinBasket's next round opponent will be Kirovograd (#8) on the road. Tornado will play against Koksokh-Stal (#7) in Alchevsk.

In the last game of round 17 Kirovograd was defeated by Pulsar in Rovno 80-72.

Leader Avantazh-Politekhnik blasted bottom-ranked BK Kremen (0-12) in Kharkov 108-71 keeping the perfect record after 17 rounds. BK Kremen is still unable to win any game. The game without a history. There was no surprise in Rovno where 8th ranked Kirovograd (5-11) was defeated by fifth ranked BC-93 Pulsar (7-9) 80-72. After very bad start, Kirovograd stormed back in the second period cutting the deficit to 1 point 38-37. But it was not enough and BC-93 Pulsar took back the control in second half. Guard Ilya Shemosyuk (188-85) nailed 31 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winning side and guard Maksym Ozhegov (190-90, agency: New Trend Agency) accounted for 19 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Oleksandr Pidiprigora (200-85) came up with 14 points and 9 rebounds and forward Aleksandr Kosenkov (205-90) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Kirovograd in the defeat.
