Coincidentally all hosts won their games. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The game between second ranked Ferro-ZNTU (14-5) and thirteenth ranked Dnipro (6-14) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Ferro-ZNTU was defeated by Dnipro in a tough game in Dnepropetrovsk 69-76. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Ferro-ZNTU. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 24-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. International power forward Maxym Korniyenko (204-F/C-87) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. American point guard Derrick Low (188-86, college: Washington St.) contributed with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. American guard Jeremy Chappell (191-87, college: Robert Morris) answered with 16 points and 5 rebounds for Ferro-ZNTU. Dnipro moved-up to twelfth place. Ferro-ZNTU at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. Dnipro are looking forward to face higher ranked Mykolaiv (#7) in Mykolaiv in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ferro-ZNTU will play at home against Hoverla (#5) in Frankivsk and is hoping to win this game.
Bottom-ranked BC Kyiv managed to get a fifth victory, breaking the series of five consecutive loses. This time they won against eighth-ranked Cherkasy 85-77. British point guard Justin Robinson (187-87, college: Rider, agency: Two Points) stepped up and scored 20 points and 6 assists for the winners and Jarrod Jones chipped in 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. BC Kyiv's coach Renato Pasquali allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Charles Thomas (203-86, college: Arkansas) responded with 29 points and 6 rebounds. BC Kyiv maintains fourteenth place with 5-16 record. Budivelnyk's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kyiv to the arena BC Kyiv.

In the last game of round 29 BC Odessa was beaten by Halychyna on the road 93-83.

Important game to mention about took place in Dniprodzerzhynsk. Eleventh ranked DniproAzot (8-11) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 9th ranked Kryvbasbasket (9-12) 71-69 on Sunday evening. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-16. But Kryvbasbasket won second period 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when DniproAzot won last quarter 20-20. American guard Derrick Zimmerman (191-81, college: Mississippi St., agency: Three Eye Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists. His fellow American import guard Ronald Davis (190-82, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.
