American forward Cameron Moore (208-F-90) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Ferro-ZNTU, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 30. The 22-year old player had a double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Hoverla (#5, 12-10) 83-76. Ferro-ZNTU maintains the 2nd position in Ukrainian Superleague. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Ferro-ZNTU will need more victories to improve their 16-5 record. Moore turned to be Ferro-ZNTU's top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Alabama at Birmingham star has very solid stats this year. Moore leads league in rebounds with 8.9rpg. Moore is in league's top in and averages impressive 60.4% FGP.
The second best player in last round's games was young American Jarrod Jones (205-F-90) of BC Kyiv. Jones had a very good evening with 27 points and 8 rebounds. Bad luck as BC Kyiv lost that game 69-88 to the higher-ranked Budivelnyk (#1, 17-5). BC Kyiv are still at the very bottom. 17 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories BC Kyiv managed to get this year. Jones is a newcomer at BC Kyiv, but is already one of team's top players.
Third on the list of top players last round was Serbian forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-F/C-84, agency: Beo Basket) of Halychyna (#6). Vukosavljevic scored 23 points and grabbed eighteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Halychyna, leading his team to a 70-59 win against the lower-ranked Kryvbasbasket (#10, 9-13). Halychyna needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 10 lost games. Vukosavljevic has a very solid season. In 22 games in Ukraine he scored 14.7ppg. He also has 8.8rpg and FGP: 53.6%.
