The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute susprises and upsets. Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

The game in Mykolaiv was quite interesting. 7th ranked BC Donetsk (10-9) played at the court of eighth ranked Mykolaiv (11-11). Mykolaiv managed to secure a 4-point victory 69-65 on Tuesday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of BC Donetsk. BC Donetsk trailed by 18 points at halftime and as many as 19 after three quarters before a 23-8 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 65-69 at the end of the game. American guard Anthony Shavies (191-83, college: Missouri St., agency: Interperformances) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals. The other American import guard Josh Mayo (182-87, college: Ill.-Chicago, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Lithuanian power forward Darius Songaila (204-78, college: Wake Forest, agency: Priority Sports) replied with 16 points and 7 rebounds for BC Donetsk. Mykolaiv moved-up to seventh place. Defending champion BC Donetsk dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. Mykolaiv are looking forward to face DniproAzot (#11) in Dniprodzerzhynsk in the next round. BC Donetsk will play at home against BC Kyiv and is hoping to win this game.

In the last game of round 32 Cherkasy was beaten by Azovmash on the road 80-76.
The most impressive performance of 32th round was 20 points and 8 assists by Lynn Greer of Azovmash.

Azovmash - Cherkasy 80-76

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Azovmash (15-5) beat 9th ranked Cherkasy (10-12) in Mariupol 80-76 on Tuesday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 20-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Azovmash made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. American point guard Lynn Greer (186-79, college: Temple) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 8 assists. The former international center Oleksiy Pecherov (213-85) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Azovmash's coach Sergei Zavalin used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Denis Ikovlev (201-86, college: Nevada, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) replied with 18 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Charles Thomas (203-86, college: Arkansas) added 17 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Cherkasy. Five Azovmash and four Cherkasy players scored in double figures. Azovmash have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 15-5 record having 2 victories less than leader Budivelnyk. Cherkasy at the other side keeps the ninth place with 12 games lost. Azovmash are looking forward to face league's leader Budivelnyk in Kyiv in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Cherkasy will have a break next round.

Bipa Basket Odessa (Superleague) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old small forward Olexandr Furs (201-107kg-93) from VolinBasket. Coincidentally all hosts won their games. An interesting game for Hoverla (12-2) which hosted in Frankivsk 4th ranked BC-93 Pulsar (8-6). First ranked Hoverla had an easy win 90-50.
