Higher League round 10 caused change at the leadership position. Third defeat of league's leader Bar Regina-B. (6-3) against first ranked Dynamo (7-3) 86-71 was the most important game of the last round. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 47-30 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Dynamo forced 19 Bar Regina-B. turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Juanita Ward (180-86, college: Syracuse, agency: Merit Sports) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import guard Tyra White (182-89, college: Texas A&M) contributed with 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Center Victoria Suzyk (190-88) replied with 19 points and 8 rebounds for Bar Regina-B.Dynamo maintains first position with 7-3 record. Bar Regina-B. at the other side dropped to the second place with three games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Dynamo.
An interesting game for Dynamo (7-3) which hosted in Kyiv their biggest opponent Elizabeth-Basket (6-4). First ranked Dynamo managed to get a 11-point victory 92-81. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Elizabeth-Basket. It was a key game for the top position in the league. American guard Juanita Ward (180-86, college: Syracuse, agency: Merit Sports) scored 25 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Tyra White chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side international center Alisa Ievtushenko (191-89, agency: LBM Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Dynamo maintains first position with 7-3 record. Elizabeth-Basket at the other side dropped to the third place with four games lost. They share the position with Tim-Scuf.

Even 12 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists by Inna Kochubei did not help to save the game for Tim-Scuf. Elizabeth-Basket have a solid four-game winning streak. Despite that victory Elizabeth-Basket went down to third position due to points difference, which they share with defeated Tim-Scuf.
Bottom-ranked Frankivsk-Hal. is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their ninth consecutive match to fifth ranked Interkhim (4-6) 70-50. Yevgeniya Sivakova fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Interkhim's coach Iryna Shchipakina allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Interkhim maintains fifth position with 4-6 record. Frankivsk-Hal. at the other side still closes the standings with nine games lost.

Dynamo - Elizabeth-Basket 92-81

An interesting game for Dynamo (7-3) which hosted in Kyiv their biggest opponent Elizabeth-Basket (6-4). First ranked Dynamo managed to get a 11-point victory 92-81. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Elizabeth-Basket. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Dynamo. Elizabeth-Basket was better in third quarter 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. American guard Juanita Ward (180-86, college: Syracuse, agency: Merit Sports) scored 25 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Tyra White (182-89, college: Texas A&M) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Dynamo players scored in double figures. At the losing side international center Alisa Ievtushenko (191-89, agency: LBM Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks and international swingman Alina Iagupova (186-92, agency: LBM Management) scored 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Bottom-ranked Frankivsk-Hal. is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their ninth consecutive match to fifth ranked Interkhim (4-6) 70-50. The game was mostly controlled by Interkhim. Frankivsk-Hal. was better in third quarter 15-7. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Interkhim dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Frankivsk-Hal.'s 24. Interkhim forced 21 Frankivsk-Hal. turnovers and outrebounded them 41-26 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Interkhim players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Frankivsk-Hal.'s players. Center Yevgeniya Sivakova (192-92) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. An interesting game for Elizabeth-Basket (6-4) which hosted in Kirovograd much higher ranked Tim-Scuf (6-4). Second ranked Elizabeth-Basket had an easy win 83-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tim-Scuf. The game without a history. Elizabeth-Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They outrebounded Tim-Scuf 40-29 including 27 on the defensive glass. International swingman Alina Iagupova (186-92, agency: LBM Management) notched a double-double by scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and the former international power forward Olena Zherzherunova (191-78, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 18 points and 15 rebounds.
