We bring you last week's top performances from Ukrainians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

#1. This week's number one is an international guard Steven Burtt (185-84, college: Iona, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL. He could not help Tofas (5-7) in their last game. Despite Burtt's very good performance Tofas lost 67-81 on the road to the lower-ranked (#10) Aliaga. He was the top scorer with 25 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) in 31 minutes on the court. It's Burtt's first season with the team. Burtt is currently fourth on the list of top scorers with 17.9ppg. He also averaged so far 2.8rpg, 4.0apg, 2FGP: 52.5%, 3FGP: 37.5% and FT: 84.8% in the 12 games he played so far. Burtt is a naturalized American. He is currently a member of the Ukrainian senior national team. Burtt used to play for Ferro-ZNTU Zaporozhye in Ukrainian league.

#2. Second place goes to an international shooting guard Sergii Gladyr (196-88, currently plays in Spain). He was the major contributor in a Baloncesto Fuenlabrada's victory against the closely-ranked Cajasol (4-11) 82-78 in the Spanish ACB last Sunday. Gladyr scored 18 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Mad-Croc Fuenlabrada (4-11) is placed 15th in the ACB. Gladyr has relatively good stats this season: 10.8ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 56.8% (25-44), 3FGP: 37.1% and FT: 91.4% (32-35). He is in the roster of the Ukrainian senior national team.

#3. The Ukrainian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Serhiy Lishchuk (210-82, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Spain). Lishchuk managed to help Valencia Basket in a victory against the tenth-ranked Unicaja Malaga (8-7) 82-64 in the Spanish ACB on Sunday night. He scored only 3 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 16 minutes. Valencia Basket (11-4) is placed third in the ACB. Lishchuk has been at the team for four years. This season Lishchuk averages: 7.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 2FGP: 51.1% and FT: 82.8% in the 10 games. He played for the Ukrainian national team one years ago.

#4. Guard Vitaly Boyko (183-82, currently plays in Russia) led Volgograd to a victory over the league outsider Spartak Vidnoye (1-12) 84-76 in the Russian Superleague (second division) in Sunday night's game. Boyko was MVP of the game. He recorded 26 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Krasnie Oktebr Volgograd (4-9) is placed 12th in the Superleague. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Boyko is currently fourth on the list of top scorers. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Boyko averages: 16.3ppg, 5.3rpg, 3.3apg and 1.3spg. He used to play for the Ukrainian national team back in 2006.

#5. Former U20 international center Olexandr Berhin (205-85, currently plays in Russia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Vitaly Boyko and both played together in the last Russian Superleague game. Berhin contributed to Volgograd's victory against the league outsider Spartak Vidnoye (1-12) 84-76. He had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting the same number of rebounds in 42 minutes. This year Berhin's overall stats are: 9.5ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.3apg in the 12 games. He used to play for the Ukrainian U20 national team seven years ago.

#6. Point guard Klym Artamonov (183-93, currently plays in Lithuania) was not able to help Siauliai (5-4) in their game against Juventus (5-5) in the Lithuanian LKL. Artamonov cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 3 points. Siauliai was edged 86-83 in Utena by the lower-ranked Juventus (#7). This season Artamonov averages just 1.1ppg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Ukrainian National Team roster.

#7. U20 international center Alex Len (216-93, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to an Maryland's surprising victory against the Delaware State University (1-0) crushing them 79-50 in the NCAA on Saturday night. Len recorded 6 points in 17 minutes. The University of Maryland has conference record this season. This year Len averages only 1.1ppg in the nine games. He is also Ukrainian U20 national team player.

An experienced guard Pavel Agapov (198-79, currently plays in Russia) was not able to secure a victory for Ataman (9-4) in their game against Rjazan (8-6) in the Russian Superleague (second division). Agapov recorded only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Ataman was crushed 96-75 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked Rjazan (#7). Agapov's total stats this season are: 2.2ppg and 2.1rpg. He used to play for the Ukrainian university national team back in 2003.

Former U20 international forward Vladyslav Kondratyev (203-90, currently studies in the States) contributed to a 1-point Bryant's victory against the Lehigh University 80-79 in the NCAA on Saturday night. He recorded only 2 points. The Bryant University has conference record this season. Kondratyev plays fourth season for the team. Kondratyev's total stats this year are: 3.5ppg and 2.1rpg. He used to play for the Ukrainian U20 national team two years ago.

The list of other players, who all have Ukrainian passport but never been selected to any of Ukrainian national teams:

#1. Rinalds Sirsnins (186-PG-85, currently plays in Latvia) contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Liepaja (5-10) crushing them 106-67 in the Latvian LBL last Thursday. Sirsnins recorded 6 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals in 20 minutes. BK Jekabpils (10-7) is placed second in the LBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. This year Sirsnins has relatively solid stats: 13.9ppg, 4.9rpg, 6.7apg and 1.4spg in the seven games he played so far.

#2. Igor Nesterenko (201-C/F-90, currently plays in Israel) was the major contributor in a 1-point Elitzur Yavne's victory against the closely-ranked Ironi Ramat Gan (6-4) 76-75 in the Israeli National League (second division) on Tuesday night. He recorded 15 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Elitzur Yavne (7-3) is placed fourth in the National League. Nesterenko's overall stats this season are: 8.7ppg and 5.3rpg. He has a dual citizenship: Ukrainian and Israeli. Despite Nesterenko's Ukrainian passport, he previously played for the Israeli U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Ukrainian team.

#3. Experienced Dmitro Gerasymenko (199-F-78, currently plays in Russia), who plays in the Russian Superleague (second division) could not help Volgograd (4-9) to beat TEMP-SUMZ Revda (7-6). Gerasymenko scored 6 points in 18 minutes. Volgograd lost 77-90 on the road to the higher-ranked (#8) TEMP-SUMZ Revda. It was Volgograd's first loss after three consecutive victories. This year Gerasymenko's total stats are: 3.5ppg and 2.1rpg in the 10 games.

BK Khimik-OPZ Yuhzny (Superleague) signed 29-year old American center Jason Love (206-120kg-87, college: Xavier). He already started the season at TED Kolejliler in Turkish BSL league. In 6 games he had 6.2ppg, 4.2rpg and 1.0apg this season. The most of last season Love spent at Limburg United (Scooore League) in Belgium where in 24 games he recorded 10.0ppg and 4.3rpg. Sokhumi Tbilisi (Superleague) landed 27-year old Ukrainian center Oleksandr Tyshchenko (206-110kg-89). He already started the season at Kremen in Ukrainian Superleague. Acqua Vitasnella Cantu (Serie A) agreed terms with experienced 54-year old Ukrainian coach Kiril Bolshakov (agency: Octagon Europe). He coached most recently at Krasny Oktyabr in Russian VTB league. The previous (14-15) season Bolshakov coached at Zaporizhya (Superleague) in Ukraine. Among other achievements his team won Ukrainian Cup in 2013.
