There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader and favorites losing the games.

Top ranked Musson (18-2) recorded its second loss in Rovno on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by fifth ranked BC-93 Pulsar (8-10) 76-63. The game was mostly controlled by BC-93 Pulsar. Musson managed to win third quarter 20-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 28 personal fouls committed by Musson helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was center Roman Novikov (203-92) who scored 25 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Ilya Shemosyuk (188-85) chipped in 21 points and 5 assists. Russian center Dmitri Lipovtsev (207-86) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds for the guests. Musson's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BC-93 Pulsar have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 8-10 record. Newly promoted Musson still keeps top place with two games lost. BC-93 Pulsar are again looking forward to face league's leader Musson in Symferopil in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Musson will have a break next round.
Important game to mention about took place in Donetsk. Third ranked Avantazh-Politekhnik (13-3) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging second-ranked Khartsyzsk (15-3) 88-86 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Khartsyzsk. The former international guard Timur Arabadzhi (192-81) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Anton Rochnyak contributed with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. point guard Pavlo Copich (180-86) replied with 21 points and 4 assists for Khartsyzsk. Khartsyzsk's coach Vladimir Bryaukhavetshy tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Avantazh-Politekhnik have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 13-3 record having nine points less than leader Musson. Khartsyzsk at the other side keeps the second place with three games lost. Avantazh-Politekhnik will play against bottom-ranked Ternopil-TNEU (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Khartsyzsk will have a break next round.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Donetsk. Second ranked Khartsyzsk faced one of their biggest challengers Avantazh-Politekhnik. Host Khartsyzsk (15-3) smashed guests from Kharkov (13-3) 114-90. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Avantazh-Politekhnik. Worth to mention a great performance of Vladimir Orlenko who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 8 rebounds. Timur Arabadzhi responded with 32 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Khartsyzsk have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 15-3 record having five points less than leader Musson. Loser Avantazh-Politekhnik keeps the third place with three games lost. Khartsyzsk will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Avantazh-Politekhnik will play against Ternopil-TNEU and hope to secure a win.

Ternopil-TNEU at the other side still closes the standings. Avantazh-Politekhnik will have a break next round. Ternopil-TNEU will play again at home against Avantazh-Politekhnik (#3) in Kharkov and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game in Kirovograd was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Tornado (10-8) played at the court of 8th ranked Kirovograd (6-14). Tornado defeated Kirovograd 75-65 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Sergey Lapenko who scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tornado maintains fourth position with 10-8 record. Loser Kirovograd keeps the eighth place with 14 games lost. Tornado will have a break next round. Kirovograd will play again at home against Tornado (#4) in Odessa.

The game in Kirovograd was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Tornado (10-8) played at the court of 8th ranked Kirovograd (6-14). Tornado defeated Kirovograd 75-65 on Saturday. Kirovograd was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Tornado made 25-of-29 free shots (86.2 percent) during the game. Kirovograd was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was guard Sergey Lapenko (196-85) who scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Igor Meshcheryakov (204-86) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Maxym Vorobjov (192-91) produced 19 points and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and swingman Anton Rozhkov (198-88) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tornado maintains fourth position with 10-8 record. Loser Kirovograd keeps the eighth place with 14 games lost.
