Ukraine keep Montenegro winless at the Sakarya U16 Tournament. They needed a 56:46 to finish Group B with 2-3 record and advanced to the Quarterfinals. The Montenegrin side meanwhile ended up with 0-5 record on the 6th place in the group.
Ukraine opened the game with 15-7 and added 11-10 in the second frame. Montenegro bounced back with 15-13 in the third quarter and needed the final push to win the game. Ukraine however answered with 17-14 rally in the last stanza and managed to seal the victory.
Svyatoslav Mikhayliuk top-scored for the winners with 15 points and Rostislav Lunskiy (188-F-97) nailed 11. Vitalii Zotov and Dmytro Berezkin (207-C-97) delivered 9 points each. Ognjen Carapic (188-PG-98) ended up with 13 points in the losing effort, while Marko Grkovic (202-F-97) had 8. Aleksa Dubak (193-F-98) delivered 7 points in a loss.

SK Cherkasy Monkeys (Superleague) signed experienced 34-year old Russian-Nigerian center Aleksey Adediran (202-110kg-82, college: Binghamton). He played last season at Energy Invest Rustavi in Georgia Superleague. In 6 games he had just 2.5ppg and 1.2rpg. BC Kremen Kremenchuk (Superleague) confirmed in their roster American point guard Rob Woodson (180-84kg, college: Grand Valley State). He played there last season. Woodson's team made it to the Superleague Semifinals. He was voted All-GLIAC 2nd Team in 2014 at his college time. Woodson is quite experienced player. Best's pro career starts at Cherkasy - 4 days ago

SK Cherkasy Monkeys (Superleague) tabbed 23-year old American forward Mike Best (208-98kg-93). He just graduated from Cal-Irvine (NCAA). Best has played there for the last five years. In 38 games he averaged 9.8ppg and 5.1rpg last season. Best helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team.
