Lynn Greer
Experienced American Lynn Greer (186-PG-79) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best Azovmash and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 41.
The 33-year old playmaker had the game-high 21 points adding seven rebounds and seven assists for Azovmash in his team's victory, helping them to crush Ferro-ZNTU (#3, 18-10) with 21-point margin 105-84. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Azovmash maintains the 2nd position in Ukrainian Superleague. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Azovmash will need more victories to improve their 20-8 record. In the team's last game Greer had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Azovmash's top player in his first season with the team. Temple University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Greer is in league's top in assists (4th best: 6.3apg) and averages solid 43.4% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Azovmash's star - 24-year old Serbian center Miroslav Raduljica (213-C-88). Raduljica impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds. Of course together with Greer he helped Azovmash with another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Ferro-ZNTU (#3, 18-10) 105-84. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Azovmash consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 20-8 record is not bad at all. Raduljica is a newcomer at Azovmash and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Charles Thomas (203-F-86) of Cherkasy (#7). Thomas scored 21 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Thomas' great performance Cherkasy lost 87-93in overtime to slightly higher-ranked Khimik (#5, 16-12). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Cherkasy needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 15 victories and 14 lost games. Thomas has a great season in Ukraine. After 26 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.0ppg (7th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Randy Culpepper (182-PG-89) of Ferro-ZNTU - 27 points and 4 assists
5. Oleksiy Pecherov (213-C-85) of Azovmash - 25 points and 6 rebounds
6. Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-F/C-84) of Halychyna - 20 points and 13 rebounds
7. Stanislav Balashov (210-C-79) of BC Odessa - 18 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Darrel Mitchell (181-PG-84) of Halychyna - 20 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Ryan Pearson (198-F-90) of Hoverla - 17 points and 10 rebounds
10. Manny Harris (196-G-89) of Azovmash - 21 points and 6 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
