Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Ukrainians who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is U20 international center Alex Len (216-93, currently plays college basketball in the States). Len led Maryland to a 2-point victory against the Duke University (9-3) 83-81 in the NCAA last Saturday. He scored 19 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and made 3 blocks. The University of Maryland has 6-6 conference record this season. Len is ranked seventh on the list of the best rebounders in the league and also on the list of best blockers (third place). He has very reliable stats this season: 14.8ppg, 5.1rpg, 6.2apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 38.6%, 3FGP: 31.9% and FT: 78.9%. Len is currently a member of the Ukrainian U20 national team.

   #2. Second place goes to former international power forward Serhiy Lishchuk (210-82, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Spain). He contributed to an easy victory against the 13th-ranked CB Canarias (8-13) crushing them 105-85 in the Spanish ACB on Saturday night. Lishchuk scored 8 points in only 14 minutes. Valencia Basket (13-8) is placed third in the ACB. They ended the series of four consecutive loses. It's Lishchuk's fourth season with the team. This year he averages: 6.8ppg, 3.2rpg, 2FGP: 56.1%(37-66) and FT: 81.0% in the 16 games he played so far. Lishchuk played for the Ukrainian national team in 2011.

   #3. The Ukrainian player who performed third best last week abroad was former U20 international forward Maks Adam Konate (200-91, currently plays in Belarus). He led Svisloch to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Borisfen (3-18) crushing them 108-44 in the Belarusian Premier League in Friday night's game. Konate was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 29 points and getting 17 rebounds. BK Svisloch Osipovichi (7-14) is placed sixth in the Premier League. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Konate has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 18.0ppg, 11.3rpg, 2.9spg, 2FGP: 54.6%, 3FGP: 25.6% and FT: 46.7%. Konate played for the Ukrainian U20 national team three years ago.

   #4. Center Viacheslav Kravtsov (212-87, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in NBA) managed to help Detroit Pistons in a victory against the Washington Wizards (15-36) 96-85 in the NBA in Wednesday night's game. He scored only 4 points in 14 minutes. The Detroit Pistons have 21-33 record this season. This year Kravtsov averages just 2.4ppg in the eight games. He is also Ukrainian national team player.

   #5. Former international point guard Vitaly Boyko (183-82, currently plays in Russia), who plays in the Russian Superleague (second division) could not help Volgograd (5-12) in their last game. Despite Boyko's very good performance Volgograd lost 82-86 on the road to the much higher-ranked (#5) Ruskon-Mordovia. He was the top scorer with 24 points. Boyko also added 4 boards, passed 7 assists and added 4 steals in 38 minutes. Boyko is currently third on the league's list of top scorers with 16.3ppg. This year his other stats are: 5.2rpg, 3.7apg and 1.3spg in the 15 games. Boyko used to play for the Ukrainian national team seven years ago.

   #6. Forward Dmytro Khodov (203-87, currently plays in Belarus), who plays in the Belarusian Premier League was not able to help one of league's weakest teams one of league's weakest teams Sozh Gomel (15-6) in their last game. Despite Khodov's good performance Sozh Gomel was crushed 99-73 on the opponent's court by the leading Grodno-93. He scored 11 points (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) in 27 minutes. It was Sozh Gomel's first loss after three consecutive victories. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Khodov has relatively good stats this year: 11.6ppg and 4.9rpg in the nine games. He is a former university international player as he played for the Ukrainian team two years ago.

Former U20 international center Olexandr Berhin (205-85, currently plays in Russia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Vitaly Boyko and both played together in the last Russian Superleague game. Berhin, who plays in the Russian Superleague (second division) was not able to secure a victory for Volgograd (5-12) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance Volgograd was defeated 86-82 in Saransk by the much higher-ranked Ruskon-Mordovia (#5). Berhin was the second best scorer with 18 points. He also added 7 rebounds. This season Berhin has relatively solid stats: 10.1ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.3apg. He used to play for the Ukrainian U20 national team eight years ago.

   #8. Forward Andriy Novikov (200-89, currently plays in Belarus) faced previously mentioned Dmytro Khodov in the Belarusian Premier League last game. Novikov contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Sozh Gomel (6-11) crushing them 99-73. He scored only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 11 minutes. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. This year Novikov's overall stats are: 3.5ppg and 3.8rpg in the four games. He used to play for the Ukrainian U20 national team back in 2009.

An experienced former University international guard Pavel Agapov (198-79, currently plays in Russia) was the major contributor in Ataman's victory against the 13th-ranked Sojuz Zaretchny (4-16) 75-72 in the Russian Superleague (second division) on Saturday night. Agapov scored 12 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 31 minutes. Ataman Rostov (13-7) is placed fourth in the Superleague. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. It's Agapov's first season with the team. This year his total stats are: 6.1ppg and 3.1rpg in the 16 games. Agapov used to play for the Ukrainian university national team ten years ago.

   #10. Forward Vladyslav Kondratyev (203-90, currently studies in the States) couldn't help the Bryant (9-4) in their game against the Mt.Saint Mary's University, MD (4-16) in the NCAA. He scored 6 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. The Bryant was defeated 84-70 in Emmitsburg, MD by the Mt.Saint Mary's University, MD. There are only four games left until the end of the NCAA Regular Season. Kondratyev has been at the team for four years. Kondratyev has averaged so far 6.1ppg and 3.1rpg. He is a former U20 international player as three years ago he still played for the Ukrainian national team.

   #11. Former U20 international guard Maksym Ozhegov (190-90, currently plays in Belarus) is a teammate of previously mentioned Dmytro Khodov. But that was another game of his team in Belarusian Premier League which we would like to mention. Ozhegov contributed to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Svisloch crushing them 96-71. He scored only 3 points in 6 minutes on the court. Ozhegov has averaged so far 3.4ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.2apg in the nine games. He used to play for the Ukrainian U20 national team three years ago.

   #12. Former U18 international forward Volodymyr Gerun (208-94, is currently at the American university) couldn't help the one of league's weakest teams W.Virginia in their game against the Baylor University in the NCAA. Gerun cannot count Wednesday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 2 points. His team was badly defeated by 20 points 80-60. Gerun has averaged so far 3.4ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.2apg. He used to play for the Ukrainian U18 national team back in 2011.


The list of other players, who all have Ukrainian passport but never been selected to any of Ukrainian national teams:

   #1. Rinalds Sirsnins (186-PG-85, currently plays in Latvia), who plays in the Latvian LBL could not help Jekabpils (14-9) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Jekabpils lost 88-95 at home to the lower-ranked (#9) Liepaja. Sirsnins was the top scorer with 27 points. He also added 7 boards, dished 5 assists and stole 3 balls in 34 minutes. It's Sirsnins' first season with the team. Sirsnins belongs to league's top scorers (ranked #6) and also on the list of best passers (first place). He has very reliable stats this year: 14.8ppg, 5.1rpg, 6.2apg and 1.5spg in the 13 games he played so far.

   #2. Sergei Dadukin (198-F-83, currently plays in Belarus) led Sozh Gomel to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Svisloch (7-14) crushing them 96-71 in the Belarusian Premier League last Tuesday. He scored 15 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 27 minutes. BK Sozh Gomel (15-6) is placed second in the Premier League. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Dadukin is ranked second on the list of the best rebounders in the league with 10.1rpg. This year he also averages: 11.9ppg, 2.7apg and 2.0spg in the 20 games.

   #3. Sergei Miakinin (206-F/C-86, currently plays in Belarus) is a teammate of previously mentioned Sergei Dadukin and both played together in the last Belarusian Premier League game. Miakinin was the major contributor in a Sozh Gomel's victory against the sixth-ranked Svisloch (7-14) crushing them 96-71. He scored 17 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Miakinin is currently third on the list of top scorers. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Miakinin averages: 15.9ppg and 4.9rpg.

   #4. Experienced Maksym Shtein (206-C-80, agency: Limelight Hoops, currently plays in Germany) led Weissenhorn Youngstars to a victory against the fourth-ranked Noerdlingen (11-8) 92-82 in the German ProB (third division) last Saturday. Shtein recorded 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and made 2 blocks. Weissenhorn Youngstars (13-6) is placed second in Group South. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Shtein's overall stats this season are: 8.0ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.8apg. He has a dual citizenship: Ukrainian and German.

   #5. Ivan Kaliayev (201-F-87, currently plays in Belarus) is a teammate of previously mentioned Sergei Dadukin. But that was another game of his team in Belarusian Premier League which we would like to mention. Kaliayev, who plays in the Belarusian Premier League was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Sozh Gomel (15-6) in their last game on Friday. Despite his good performance Sozh Gomel was crushed 99-73 on the road by the leading Grodno-93. Kaliayev scored 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. It's Kaliayev's first season with the team. His overall stats this year are: 7.1ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.5apg and 1.5spg.

   #6. Igor Nesterenko (201-C/F-90, currently plays in Israel) contributed to a Elitzur Yavne's victory against the closely-ranked Elitzur Ramla 76-63 in the Israeli National League (second division) last Tuesday. Nesterenko scored 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Nesterenko has reliable stats this season: 10.9ppg and 5.9rpg. He is another player who holds two passports: Ukrainian and Israeli. Despite Nesterenko's Ukrainian nationality, he previously played for the Israeli U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Ukrainian team.

   #7. Vitaliy Bliznyuk (206-C-79, currently plays in Belarus) faced previously mentioned Ivan Kaliayev in the Belarusian Premier League last game. Bliznyuk managed to help BK Grodno-93 in a victory against the closely-ranked Sozh Gomel crushing them 99-73. He scored only 4 points in 12 minutes. Bliznyuk has averaged so far 4.9ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.1spg in the seven games.

   #8. Nikola Polyulyak (192-G-90, currently plays in Belarus) helped Svisloch win their game against one of league's weakest teams Borisfen crushing them 108-44 in the Belarusian Premier League on Friday night. He scored 8 points and added 11 passes. Polyulyak has reliable stats this season: 11.0ppg, 3.4rpg, 6.6apg and 1.2spg.

   #9. Dmitro Gerasymenko (199-F-78, currently plays in Russia) was not able to secure a victory for Volgograd in their game against Ruskon-Mordovia in the Russian Superleague (second division). Gerasymenko cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 3 points in 15 minutes. His team lost 82-86. Gerasymenko has averaged so far 3.4ppg and 2.0rpg in the 14 games.

Group 3-4 Place Khimik-2 - Krivbas-2 94-81 The game was mostly controlled by Khimik-2. Krivbas-2 managed to win third quarter 26-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Khimik-2 especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. 24 personal fouls committed by Krivbas-2 helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
