Vladan
Vukosavljevic
28-year old power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-F/C-84, agency: Beo Basket) had a very impressive game in the last round for Halychyna and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 45.
He had a double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds, while his team crushed DniproAzot (#13, 11-20) with 24-point margin 84-60. Halychyna maintains the 3rd position in Ukrainian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Halychyna will need more victories to improve their 20-12 record. It's Vukosavljevic's second year at Halychyna and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Vladan Vukosavljevic averages this season 16.3ppg and 10.0rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Kyndall Dykes (190-SG-87, agency: Edge Sports) of Hoverla. He is American guard in his first season at Hoverla. In the last game Dykes recorded impressive double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds. It was enough for Hoverla to edge the higher-ranked Azovmash (#2, 21-9) by 6 points 82-76. This victory allowed Hoverla to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 17-14 record is not bad and everything may still change. Dykes is a newcomer at Hoverla and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.5ppg (#3). He also registered 5.2 boards per game. Former University of New Orleans star Dykes is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Anthony Goods (191-G-87) of BC Kyiv (#14). Goods showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, six rebounds and eight assists in the last round. He was a key player of BC Kyiv, leading his team to a 76-74 win against the higher-ranked Cherkasy (#7, 17-16). BC Kyiv can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 7-25 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Too bad for Goods he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Goods has individually a great season in Ukraine. After 29 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.4ppg (4th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Herb Pope (203-F-89) of Kryvbasbasket - 23 points and 10 rebounds
5. Vincent Hunter (208-F-84) of Cherkasy - 21 points and 5 rebounds
6. Manny Harris (196-G-89) of Azovmash - 21 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Denis Ikovlev (201-SF-86) of Cherkasy - 15 points and 7 rebounds
8. Jarrod Jones (205-F-90) of BC Kyiv - 16 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Michael Lee (207-F-86) of Halychyna - 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Miroslav Raduljica (213-C-88) of Azovmash - 17 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
