   #1. This week's number one is an international center Viacheslav Kravtsov (212-87, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. He could not help the Detroit Pistons (22-36) in their last game. Despite Kravtsov's good performance the Detroit Pistons were crushed 114-82 on the road by the Indiana Pacers. He had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 10 rebounds in 29 minutes on the court. It's Kravtsov's first season with the team. This year Kravtsov averages: 3.9ppg, 1.9rpg, 2FGP: 77.8%(21-27) and FT: 23.8% in the 12 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Ukrainian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to former international power forward Serhiy Lishchuk (210-82, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Eurocup). Lishchuk led his Spanish team Valencia Basket to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked CEZ Nymburk (1-5) crushing them 104-55 in the Eurocup last Tuesday. He scored 11 points. Valencia Basket (4-2) is placed second in group J. There are only two games left until the end of the Eurocup Top 16. So now every game will be critical. Lishchuk is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Valencia Basket's roster. Lishchuk's overall stats this season are: 8.3ppg, 2.9rpg, 2FGP: 68.3%(28-41) and FT: 84.2%. He played for the Ukrainian national team in 2011.

   #3. The Ukrainian player who performed third best last week abroad was U20 international center Alex Len (216-93, currently plays college basketball in the States). Len led Maryland to a 2-point victory against the Duke University (10-3) 83-81 in the NCAA in Saturday night's game. He scored 19 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and made 3 blocks. The University of Maryland has 7-7 conference record this season. There are only four games left until the end of the NCAA Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Len is currently sixth on the league's list of best rebounders and also on the list of best blockers (third place). He has very reliable stats this season: 14.8ppg, 5.1rpg, 6.2apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 38.6%, 3FGP: 31.9% and FT: 78.9%. Len is also a member of the Ukrainian U20 national team.

   #4. Point guard Klym Artamonov (183-93, currently plays in Baltic League) contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Sakalai (1-5) 92-74 in the Baltic League last Wednesday. He recorded 7 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists in 26 minutes. BC Siauliai (4-2) is placed second in group H. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Baltic League Top 16. So now every game will be important. This year Artamonov's overall stats are: 4.0ppg, 2.2rpg and 3.5apg in the 15 games. He is also Ukrainian national team player.

   #5. Former international point guard Vitaly Boyko (183-82, currently plays in Russia), who plays in the Russian Superleague (second division) was not able to help Volgograd (6-12) in their last game. Despite Boyko's very good performance Volgograd lost 82-86 in Saransk to the higher-ranked (#5) Ruskon-Mordovia. He was the top scorer with 24 points. Boyko also added 4 boards, passed 7 assists and added 4 steals in 38 minutes. Boyko is currently third on the league's list of top scorers with 16.5ppg. This year his other stats are: 5.0rpg, 3.8apg and 1.5spg in the 16 games. Boyko used to play for the Ukrainian national team seven years ago.

   #6. Forward Vladyslav Kondratyev (203-90, currently studies in the States) led Bryant to an easy victory against the Central Connecticut State University (7-8) crushing them 88-67 in the NCAA last Thursday. He recorded 12 points in 23 minutes. The Bryant University has a solid 10-5 conference record this season. There are only two games left until the end of the NCAA Regular Season. Kondratyev has been at the team for four years. This season Kondratyev's total stats are: 5.3ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.1spg in the eight games. He is a former U20 international player as he played for the Ukrainian team three years ago.

Former University international forward Dmytro Khodov (203-87, currently plays in Belarus) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Impuls BGUIR (8-13) 98-79 in the Belarusian Premier League in Friday night's game. He recorded 9 points in only 13 minutes. BK Sozh Gomel (16-6) is placed second in the Premier League. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. Khodov has relatively good stats this year: 11.3ppg and 4.6rpg in the 10 games. He used to play for the Ukrainian university national team two years ago.

   #8. Center Olexandr Berhin (205-85, currently plays in Russia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Vitaly Boyko and both played together in the last Russian Superleague game. Berhin, who plays in the Russian Superleague (second division) was not able to secure a victory for Volgograd (6-12) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance Volgograd was defeated 86-82 in Saransk by the higher-ranked Ruskon-Mordovia (#5). Berhin was the second best scorer with 18 points. He also added 7 rebounds. Berhin has averaged so far 9.9ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.2apg. He used to play for the Ukrainian U20 national team back in 2005.

Former U20 international guard Maksym Ozhegov (190-90, currently plays in Belarus) is a teammate of previously mentioned Dmytro Khodov and both played together in the last Belarusian Premier League game. Ozhegov contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Impuls BGUIR (8-13) 98-79. He recorded 9 points in only 12 minutes. Ozhegov has averaged so far 4.0ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.1apg in the 10 games. He used to play for the Ukrainian U20 national team three years ago.

   #10. Center Oleksandr Kushnirov (208-92, currently plays in Baltic League) couldn't help the league outsider Naglis Palangos (0-6) in their game against Kalev/Cramo (5-1) in the Baltic League. Kushnirov scored 6 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. It was his first game for Naglis Palangos this season. The fourth-placed Naglis Palangos was crushed 77-51 at home by the second-ranked Kalev/Cramo in the group F of Baltic League. So far Naglis Palangos lost all six games in the Top 16. The Top 16 already ended in the Baltic League. Kushnirov is U20 international player who is currently on the Ukrainian National Team roster.

   #11. Former University international guard Pavel Agapov (198-79, currently plays in Russia) couldn't help Ataman in their game against Volgograd in the Russian Superleague (second division). He recorded 7 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 25 minutes. His team was edged 66-65. Agapov has averaged so far 6.1ppg and 3.2rpg in the 17 games. He used to play for the Ukrainian university national team ten years ago.

   #12. International shooting guard Sergii Gladyr (196-88, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Baloncesto Fuenlabrada in their game against Regal FC Barcelona in the Spanish ACB. Gladyr cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 2 points and had 3 steals. His team was edged 72-70. This season Gladyr has relatively solid stats: 10.2ppg, 2.9rpg and 1.3spg. He is also in the roster of the Ukrainian national team.


The list of other players, who all have Ukrainian passport but never been selected to any of Ukrainian national teams:

   #1. Rinalds Sirsnins (186-PG-85, currently plays in Latvia) led Jekabpils to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Turiba (7-18) 93-83 in the Latvian LBL on Saturday night. Sirsnins was MVP of the game. He scored 22 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 34 minutes. BK Jekabpils (14-9) is placed third in the LBL. Sirsnins is currently sixth on the league's list of top scorers and also on the list of best passers (first place). He has very reliable stats this year: 14.8ppg, 5.1rpg, 6.2apg and 1.5spg in the 13 games he played so far.

   #2. Sergei Miakinin (206-F/C-86, currently plays in Belarus) was the main contributor in a Sozh Gomel's victory against the closely-ranked Impuls BGUIR (8-13) 98-79 in the Belarusian Premier League on Friday night. Miakinin was MVP of the game. He recorded 18 points. BK Sozh Gomel (16-6) is placed second in the Premier League. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Miakinin belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #3. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Miakinin averages: 16.0ppg and 4.7rpg.

   #3. Experienced Maksym Shtein (206-C-80, agency: Limelight Hoops, currently plays in Germany) contributed to a Weissenhorn Youngstars' victory against the third-ranked Noerdlingen (11-8) 92-82 in the German ProB (third division) in Saturday night's game. He recorded 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and made 2 blocks in 34 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in Group South. Weissenhorn Youngstars (13-6) is placed second. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. This year Shtein's total stats are: 8.0ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.8apg in the 19 games. He has a dual citizenship: Ukrainian and German.

   #4. Sergei Dadukin (198-F-83, currently plays in Belarus) is a teammate of previously mentioned Sergei Miakinin and both played together in the last Belarusian Premier League game. Dadukin helped Sozh Gomel win their game against the closely-ranked Impuls BGUIR (8-13) 98-79. He recorded 9 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Dadukin is currently second on the list of best rebounders. This season he has very good stats: 11.8ppg, 10.2rpg, 2.7apg and 2.0spg.

   #5. Vitaliy Bliznyuk (206-C-79, currently plays in Belarus) helped Grodno-93 win their game against the closely-ranked Tsmoki-Minsk II (9-12) crushing them 82-54 in the Belarusian Premier League in Friday night's game. He recorded 8 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BK Grodno-93 (21-0) is placed first in the Premier League. So far his team won all twenty one games in the Regular Season. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. Bliznyuk's total stats this season are: 5.3ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.1spg.

   #6. Ivan Kaliayev (201-F-87, currently plays in Belarus) is a teammate of previously mentioned Sergei Miakinin. He played also in the last Belarusian Premier League game facing Sergei Dadukin (above) in the other team. Kaliayev helped Sozh Gomel win their game against the closely-ranked Impuls BGUIR 98-79. He recorded 10 points (made all of his six free throws). Kaliayev has averaged so far 7.2ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.5apg and 1.5spg.

   #7. Igor Nesterenko (201-C/F-90, currently plays in Israel) managed to help Elitzur Yavne in a victory against the closely-ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata 83-78 in the Israeli National League (second division) in Tuesday night's game. Nesterenko scored only 4 points in 7 minutes on the court. Nesterenko has reliable stats this year: 10.6ppg and 5.7rpg in the 18 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Ukrainian and Israeli.

   #8. Dmitro Gerasymenko (199-F-78, currently plays in Russia), who plays in the Russian Superleague (second division) could not help Volgograd to beat Ruskon-Mordovia. Gerasymenko cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 3 points. His team was defeated 86-82. Gerasymenko has averaged so far 3.3ppg and 2.0rpg.

BK Khimik-OPZ Yuhzny (Superleague) signed 29-year old American center Jason Love (206-120kg-87, college: Xavier). He already started the season at TED Kolejliler in Turkish BSL league. In 6 games he had 6.2ppg, 4.2rpg and 1.0apg this season. The most of last season Love spent at Limburg United (Scooore League) in Belgium where in 24 games he recorded 10.0ppg and 4.3rpg. Sokhumi Tbilisi (Superleague) landed 27-year old Ukrainian center Oleksandr Tyshchenko (206-110kg-89). He already started the season at Kremen in Ukrainian Superleague. Acqua Vitasnella Cantu (Serie A) agreed terms with experienced 54-year old Ukrainian coach Kiril Bolshakov (agency: Octagon Europe). He coached most recently at Krasny Oktyabr in Russian VTB league. The previous (14-15) season Bolshakov coached at Zaporizhya (Superleague) in Ukraine. Among other achievements his team won Ukrainian Cup in 2013.
