Hapoel Tel-Aviv (Winner League) signed 26-year old American guard Anthony Goods (191-91kg-87, college: Stanford). He started the season in BC Kyiv in Ukraine. In 30 Superleague games he had very impressive stats: 17.2ppg, 3.3rpg, 3.8apg and 1.0spg this season. The last season Goods played at Fort Wayne Mad Ants in D-League. In 10 games he recorded 11.1ppg, 2.2rpg and 2.4apg. He also played at BancaTercas (SerieA, starting five) in Italian league earlier that season. In 5 SerieA, starting five games he recorded 9.2ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.0spg. Goods also spent the start of the season at Santa Cruz Warriors (previous name Dakota Warriors) in D-League earlier that year. In 8 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 17.1ppg, 2.8rpg and 2.5apg. The previous (2011) summer he was tested by Trotamundos (LPB) in Venezuelan league. In 2009 Goods was drafted by Bakersfield Jam (D-League) in third round (36th overall). He attended Stanford University and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball. The list of the past achievements is quite long as Goods played in the final of Pac-10 Tournament in 2008. He was also voted All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention back in 2008 and 2009 at his college time. Andriy Novikov (200-F-89) and Vitaliy Bliznyuk (206-C-79) finished successful season in Belarus. Their Grodno-93 lost the Finals to Tsmoki-Minsk and finished second.
Tsmoki-Minsk became the Champions of Belarus! The defending champions swept the Finals series against Grodno-93 3-0 adding 74:66 road win.

Tsmoki-Minsk dominated on the defensive end, holding Grodno-93 to just 5 points in second quarter. Aliaksei Lashkevich (203-PF-78) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Aliaksei Trastsinetski added 14. Pavel Ulyanko netted 11, while Ater Majok and Dzianis Korshuk added 7 apiece. Yuri Kuzminets replied with 20 points in the losing effort and Mastou scored 12. Igor Konuyshenko produced 10 and Korzh had 9. Andriy Novikov averaged 3.5 points per game, while Vitaliy Bliznyuk showed 4.3 points per game.

Volodimir Kholopov is back on the bridge in Cherkasy Monkeys. The team has agreed on terms of contract with the specialist to return to head coaching position. Volodimir Kholopov worked as head coach of Cherkasy in 2008/2012 seasons. He was replaced at helm of the team by Jovica Arsic before the season start. Kholopov worked as assistant coach during the last season. He will now try to improve Cherkasy position in the next season [read more]
