Experienced American Kimberly Williams (168-G-74, agency: Merit Sports) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Dynamo and that's her to receive a Higher League Player of the Week award for round 16.
The 38-year old guard had the game-high 18 points adding seven rebounds and nine assists for Dynamo in her team's victory, helping them to crush Bar Regina-B. (#5, 7-10) with 18-point margin 87-69. It allowed Dynamo to consolidate first place in the Ukrainian Higher League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Dynamo has a very solid 15-5 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Williams turned to be Dynamo's top player in her first season with the team. De Paul graduate has very impressive stats this year. Williams is in league's top in points (7th best: 15.0ppg), assists (8th best: 3.5apg) and averages solid 3.7spg and 56.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Dynamo's star - 24-year old guard Yevgeniya Spitkovska (175-G-88). Spitkovska impressed basketball fans with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course together with Williams she helped Dynamo with another comfortable win 87-69 over the lower-ranked Bar Regina-B. (#5, 7-10) being unquestionably team leader. Of course Dynamo still keep the league's top spot. Her team has currently 15-5 record. Spitkovska is a newcomer at Dynamo and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Krystyna Matsko (182-F-91) of Tim-Scuf (#3). Matsko scored 25 points and grabbed six rebounds. She was a key player of Tim-Scuf, leading her team to a 84-74 win against #4 ranked Interkhim in a game of the week. Tim-Scuf needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 8 lost games. Matsko has a great season in Ukraine. After 18 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.9rpg (5th best).

4. Tyra White (182-G-89) of Dynamo - 17 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
