Very significant was Dynamo's (#1, 18-6) victory against 4th ranked Interkhim (9-15) 84-69. Dynamo made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Interkhim turnovers. American guard Juanita Ward (180-86, college: Syracuse, agency: Merit Sports) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Kimberly Williams (168-74, college: De Paul, agency: Merit Sports) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Yevgeniya Sivakova (192-92) with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dynamo maintains first position with 18-6 record. Interkhim lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 15 games lost. Dynamo are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Frankivsk-Hal. (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Interkhim will play against Tim-Scuf in Kyiv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Second ranked Elizabeth-Basket (17-7) crushed at home 6th ranked Frankivsk-Hal. (1-18) by 39 points 88-49, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. The best player for the winners was Alina Iagupova who scored 19 points and 7 assists. Elizabeth-Basket's coach felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Katerina Polyanychka who recorded 24 points. Elizabeth-Basket have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 17-7 record behind leader Dynamo. Frankivsk-Hal. at the other side stay dead last with 18 lost games. Elizabeth-Basket will meet Bar Regina-B. (#5) on the road in the next round. Frankivsk-Hal. will play against the league's leader Dynamo in Kyiv.

In the last two games of round 18 Bar Regina-B. lost to Tim-Scuf on the opponent's court 81-88. Elizabeth-Basket outscored Frankivsk-Hal. in a home game 93-54.
