The game between Top Four teams took place in Lutsk. 4th placed host VolinBasket (13-9) lost to second ranked Khartsyzsk (20-4) 64-59. They made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for guard Yurii Koverga (190-86) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points. Guard Andrii Horbatiuk (199-91) helped adding 17 points. Khartsyzsk's coach Vladimir Bryaukhavetshy used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was guard Edvard Fedchuk (180-91) with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Khartsyzsk maintains second place with 20-4 record having five points less than leader Musson, which they share with Avantazh-Pol. VolinBasket at the other side keeps the fourth position with nine games lost. Khartsyzsk is looking forward to face BC-93 Pulsar (#6) in Rovno in the next round. VolinBasket will play on the road against Ternopil-TNEU and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
Higher League top team - Musson (23-3) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eighth ranked Kirovograd (8-18) in Symferopil 58-48. It was a quality performance for Russian center Dmitri Lipovtsev (207-86) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. Dimitri Shevchenko accounted for 9 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Ivan Gusarov (190-87) came up with 9 points and 6 rebounds for Kirovograd in the defeat. Kirovograd's coach Igor Chigrinov rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Musson have a solid series of four victories in a row. Newly promoted Musson maintains first place with 23-3 record. Kirovograd at the other side keeps the eighth position with 18 games lost. Musson will play against Tornado (#5) in Odessa in the next round. Kirovograd will play at home against BK Kremen in Kremenchuk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

At the other side the best for losing team was Oleg Demchuk who recorded 29 points and 9 rebounds. Avantazh-Politekhnik have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Khartsyzsk. Loser BC-93 Pulsar keeps the sixth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Koksokh-Stal. Avantazh-Politekhnik will meet Koksokh-Stal (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. BC-93 Pulsar will play against the league's second-placed Khartsyzsk in Donetsk and hope to secure a win.

Koksokh-Stal moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Pulsar. BK Kremen at the other side keeps the ninth position with 20 games lost. Koksokh-Stal's next round opponent will be higher ranked Avantazh-Politekhnik (#3) in Kharkov and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BK Kremen will play on the road against Kirovograd (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Bipa Basket Odessa (Superleague) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old small forward Olexandr Furs (201-107kg-93) from VolinBasket. In 20 Superleague games he recorded 6.2ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.9apg this season. The most of last season Furs spent at Dynamo (SL Favorit Sport) where in 39 games he averaged 3.8ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.0apg. Coincidentally all hosts won their games. An interesting game for Hoverla (12-2) which hosted in Frankivsk 4th ranked BC-93 Pulsar (8-6). First ranked Hoverla had an easy win 90-50.
