Darius Adams
American point guard Darius Adams (182-PG-89, agency: Three Eye Sports) had a great game in the last round for Kryvbasbasket, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 49.
The 23-year old player was the main contributor (34 points, four rebounds and nine assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush DniproAzot (#13, 11-25) with 19-point margin 86-67. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on the top of the standings. Kryvbasbasket is placed at 10th position in Ukrainian Superleague. Kryvbasbasket is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 14-21 record. In the team's last game Adams had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He just recently signed at Kryvbasbasket, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Darius Adams averages this season 17.6ppg and 4.2apg.

The second best player in last round's games was 31-year old American D'or Fischer (211-C-81) of BC Donetsk. Fischer had a very good evening with a double-double of 16 points and 16 rebounds. Of course BC Donetsk cruised to a 77-66 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Mykolaiv (#9, 15-19). This victory allowed BC Donetsk to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 19-15 record is not bad and everything may still change. Fischer is a newcomer at BC Donetsk, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Sam Muldrow (205-F-88) of DniproAzot (#13). Muldrow scored 17 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Muldrow's great performance DniproAzot lost 67-86 to the higher-ranked Kryvbasbasket (#10, 14-21). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of DniproAzot not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 25 games, recording just eleven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Muldrow could try to bring DniproAzot's a little bit higher in the standings. Muldrow has individually a great season in Ukraine. After 36 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.7rpg (6th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Denis Ikovlev (201-SF-86) of Cherkasy - 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists
5. Malcolm Delaney (191-G-89) of Budivelnyk - 18 points, 3 rebounds and 10 assists
6. Manny Harris (196-G-89) of Azovmash - 17 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Vladimir Konev (201-F-89) of Kryvbasbasket - 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Vyacheslav Bobrov (201-F-92) of BC Kyiv - 12 points, 15 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Leo Lyons (206-F-87) of Budivelnyk - 24 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-F/C-84) of Halychyna - 15 points and 14 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
