There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader and favorites losing the games.

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of Krivbas-2 (16-4) in Kirovograd on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by Zolotoi Vek (17-3) 99-79. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Zolotoi Vek. Krivbas-2 managed to win third quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Zolotoi Vek forced 19 Krivbas-2 turnovers. The best player for the winners was Gleb Buzko (192-92) who scored 28 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Forward Olexandr Drobiazko (196-93, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Dmitro Vasilenko (191-97) who recorded 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zolotoi Vek have an impressive 12-game winning streak. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Azovmash. Olexandr Tarasenko had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners. The best for the losing side was Kirilo Zuev with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 20 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dnipro-2 moved-up to third place. Loser Azovmash keeps the second position with eight games lost. Dnipro-2 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Azovmash will play against SumDU in Sumy and hope to secure a win.

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Sumy where sixth ranked SumDU (3-17) outscored 5th ranked Kremen-2 (3-17) 91-64 on Saturday. The game without a history. SumDU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 29 Kremen-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 46-32 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. SumDU looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Kremen-2's players. The best player for the winners was forward Oleksiy Taskinov (201-82) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Sergei Glinchak (-89) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. Four SumDU players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international guard Maxim Balashov (190-80, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who recorded 40 points (!!!) and guard Anton Mikhailenko (185-94) added 4 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals respectively. SumDU moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Kremen-2. SumDU will face league's second-placed Azovmash in Mariupol in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Kremen-2 will play on the road against the league's leader Krivbas-2 in Kryvyi Rih and hope to win that game.

Not a big story in a game in Mariupol where one of their biggest challengers Dnipro-2 (10-12) was defeated by second ranked Azovmash (14-8) 73-60 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Azovmash. Dnipro-2 was better in fourth quarter 17-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Dnipro-2 50-28 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Kirilo Zuev (193-93) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Forward Oleksiy Momotenko (203-92) chipped in 8 points and 16 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Olexandr Tarasenko (199-96) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Ihor Dubonenko (193-98) added 17 points and 4 steals respectively. Dnipro-2's coach Oleksandr Muntian rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Azovmash maintains second position with 14-8 record having four points less than leader Zolotoi Vek. Newly promoted Dnipro-2 dropped to the third place with 12 games lost. Azovmash will face SumDU (#5) in Sumy in the next round.
