The game in Mykolaiv was quite interesting. Hoverla (9-5) played at the court of Niko-Basket (1-13). Hoverla managed to secure a 5-point victory 73-68 on Monday. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 24-12 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Stanislav Serpilin (194-93) who scored 21 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Guard Andriy Kalashnikov (175-89) chipped in 8 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Maksym Ozhegov (190-90) who recorded 22 points and 5 rebounds.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Cherkasy. Local Ch.Mavpy 2 (4-6) outscored Kremen-2 (3-7) 79-60. It was a good game for swingman Ivan Tkachenko (197-97) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Rostislav Lunskiy contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Danylo Khablakov answered with 16 points and 7 rebounds for Kremen-2. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

In the last game of round 3 Kremen-2 was defeated by Ch.Mavpy 2 in Cherkasy 99-85.

Ch.Mavpy 2 - Kremen-2 99-85

Ch.Mavpy 2 used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Kremenchuk 99-85. The game was mostly controlled by Ch.Mavpy 2. Kremen-2 was better in third quarter 22-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 23-of-30 charity shots (76.7 percent) during the game. Ch.Mavpy 2 outrebounded Kremen-2 36-23 including a 23-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Ch.Mavpy 2 brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Kremen-2 was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for swingman Ivan Tkachenko (197-97) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Anton Pelipay (186-97) contributed with 19 points and 7 assists for the winners. Ch.Mavpy 2's coach Vladimir Chursin allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international guard Maxim Balashov (190-80, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) answered with 27 points and 4 assists and Danylo Khablakov added 17 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Kremen-2. Five Ch.Mavpy 2 and four Kremen-2 players scored in double figures.

SK Cherkasy Monkeys (Superleague) signed 31-year old American center Marvin Jefferson (206-107kg-86, college: Idaho). He played last season at Mugla Orman in Turkish TBL league.
