Great Britain clinched the top position at the Four Nations Tournament in Liege. They capped their campaign with a resounding win over hosting Belgium to improve at 2-1 record. Natalie Stafford (173-G-76) stepped up with 21 points to lead the winners.
Great Britain enjoyed a narrow 24:22 lead after ten minutes. The British team ignited a 19:3 run in the second quarter to clear off. They arrived at halftime up by 16 points 51:35. The margin grew at 20-point mark in the third term. Great Britain entered the fourth frame up by 20 points 74:54 and never looked back en route to the victory. Johannah Leedham (180-G/F-87, college: Franklin Pierce) provided 16 points for Great Britain. Julie Page (188-F/C-83, college: E.Washington) contributed 13 points in the victory. Jasmina Rosseel (172-G-89, college: Drexel) answered with 22 points for Belgium. Sara Leemans (178-SF-88) had 15 points in the loss.
