London farewell to Future Stars 2012 after the Final Day of the competition.
Ukraine U18 won Future Stars International Tournament with 6 participating teams. After the win and the loss in the group stage, Ukraine won the Semifinal and the Final games.
In the Semifinal game Ukraine U18 overcame Denmark U18 65:54. They started with 16-15 and added 23-18 in the second period. Moreover Ukraine won the third frame 18-11 and did not mind 8-10 in the last stanza. Stanislav Kudrya (186-PG-95) and Shevchenko top-scored for the winners with 18 points each, while Sahnyuk posted 11. Rasmus Glarbjerg replied with 13 points in defeat, while Anders Skou added 7.
In another Semifinal game England U18 lost to Netherlands U18 46:53.
In the Final game Ukraine U18 outscored Holland U18 66:57. Pishikiv paced all the winners with 18 points, while Stanislav Kudrya netted 12. Sahnyuk delivered 9 and Petrov posted 6.
In the game for the third place Denmark U18 outscored England U18 73:59. Denmark opened the game with 22-6 lead and never looked behind after. England however replied with 19-15 in the second period and then grabbed 18-14 in the third quarter. Denmark meanwhile won the last stanza 22-16 and grabbed bronze medals.
