Estudiantes extends British NT player Daniel Clark for the next season - Jul 30, 2012

Daniel Clark (210-F/C-88, agency: Interperformances) stays with Asefa Estudiantes Madrid for the next season. The Spanish squad officially announced this news today. Clark arrived to Estu in 2003 and played for their cadet team. After that Clark played for Estudiantes juniors and for their second team as well. In 2006, the player was promoted to the senior squad. Last season Daniel Clark had 5.7 ppg and 3.1 rpg for 31 games in Liga Endesa. He had almost the same numbers in 2010/11. That season Clark added 7.9 ppg and 2.9 rpg for 13 EuroCup games. Daniel Clark currently plays for the British National Team at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. He scored 5 points against Russia on Sunday. Last summer, Clark averaged 8.2 points and 7.2 rebounds for 5 games at EuroBasket in Lithuania.

Al Nift Baghdad (Superleague) signed 22-year old American forward Shaheed Davis (206-95kg-94, college: Cent.Florida). He already started the season at DBL Sharks Sheffield in British BBL league, but left the team in Oct.'16. In four games he had very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 7.0rpg and 1.5bpg this season. The Flexx Pistoia (Serie A) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old British international guard Teddy Okereafor (193-88kg-92, college: Rider), with a one-month deal. He already started the season at Parnu Sadam in Estonian Alexela KML. In four games he recorded 10.3ppg, 4.8rpg, 3.8apg and 2.0spg this season.
