England U18 - Romania U18 60:55

England clinched the third straight win at the U18 European Championship in Division B. They knocked down Romania to stay perfect in Group A. Luke Nelson (189-PG-95) knocked down 19 points to lead the winners. Romania fell at 1-2 record after the loss.
England started the game confidently. They limited Romania to 10 points in the opening quarter earning a 6-point lead. England stretched the lead in the second term. They ensured a 41:24 halftime advantage. Romania slowed their opponents down in the third term. They narrowed the margin to 11 points heading into the fourth stanza. Romania got within a single point midway through the final term. But Luke Nelson four points and Dwayne Orija (193-SG-95) added two more in the final three minutes to seal the victory for England. Kingsley Okoroh (213-C-95) had 11 points and 11 rebounds for England. Vlad Popovici (200-PF-94) answered with 20 points and 11 rebounds for Romania. Vlad Cobzaru (201-C-95) netted 10 points in the loss.

In 34 BBL games he recorded 6.8ppg, 3.1rpg and 2.4apg last season. Washington helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. They also played in the Cup final.
