Portugal had no mercy for UK in third round of Group G at U20 EuroBasket in Debrecen. Portugal celebrated huge 66-39 win for 2-1 record in this group. At the other side, UK dropped to 0-3 and already faced with relegation to Division B. Portugal's hopes to survive still exist, despite Italy jumped to 3-0 in this pool. Daniela Domingues (176-G/F-92) stepped up for the winners with 20 points and Vitoria Pacheco (179-C-92) added 12 points, plus 6 rebounds. Jessica Almeida (172-PG-93) added 11 pts to this win. In defeat, Erin McGarrachan (182-G-92) collected 11 points and 8 rebs. Cheridene Green (187-C-95) also scored 11 pts, but to go with 7 rebs, and Jessica Hurd (185-C-92) posted 7 points. Quarters: 18-14, 15-6, 16-9, 17-10. Championship continues on Friday.
