Derbyshire Arrows secured a spot in the Patrons Cup semi finals with a 72-65 win at PAWS London Capital on Sunday.
The result puts Arrows level with Manchester Magic on 3 wins and 2 losses, but they recorded a come-from-behind 87-84 home win against Magic earlier in the campaign that gives them the head-to-head edge.
In London, Arrows took each of the opening two quarters narrowly to lead 40-34 at the half. Capital trimmed a couple of points off the lead during the third quarter, but faded at the end to lose by seven.
Akintunde Akintunde Lisk-Carew (22) and Robert Valentine (183-G-88, agency: Prossin Sports Management) (19) provided Arrows with more than 50% of their offense. Isaac Nsiah top scored for PAWS with 16 points.
Arrows await the result of the outstanding Patrons Cup Pool 1 games to discover their semi final opponents.
