Barking Abbey Leopards confirmed in their roster domestic Melita Emanuel-Carr. She played there last season. In only one EBL game last year she recorded 8 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Emanuel-Carr helped her team to make it to the English EBL Semifinals2012.
Barking Abbey Leopards re-signed 17-year old forward Shequila Joseph (189-F-95). She has played there for the last three seasons. But in only one EBL game last season she did not score anything and had only 4 rebounds and 1 steal. She received Eurobasket.com All-European Championships U18 Division B 1st Team award in 2012. Joseph represented United Kingdom at the English 3x3 Women Team for Youth Olympic Games in Italy last year. Her stats at that event were 8 games: 12.9ppg, 6.3rpg, 2.4apg, 2.8spg, FGP: 35.6%, 3PT: 23.1%, FT: 50.0%. Joseph has played previously for another British team: Harringey Angels.
Barking Abbey Leopards re-signed 22-year old center Kashmere Joseph (187-C-90, college: Seton Hall). She played there last season. In only one EBL game last year she had 11 points and 8 rebounds. She represented United Kingdom at the European Championships U20 Division B in Kavadarci (FYR Macedonia) two years ago. Joseph's team won Gold and her stats at that event were 7 games: 3.7ppg, 3.0rpg.Joseph has played previously for another British team: Harringey Angels. She attended Seton Hall University until 2011 and it will be her second season in pro basketball.
Moreover the team added Beth Sarson and Samantha Toole (171-PG-96).
