We bring you last week's top performances from British players who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international forward Luol Deng (206-85, agency: Interperformances, college: Duke, currently plays in NBA). He led Chicago Bulls to an overtime victory against the Phoenix Suns (4-7) 112-106 in the NBA in Wednesday night's game. Deng recorded 21 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 46 minutes on the court. The Chicago Bulls have 5-5 record this season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Deng's ninth year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Deng averages: 18.1ppg, 7.2rpg, 2.7apg, 2FGP: 53.4%, 3FGP: 24.1% and FT: 77.3% in the 10 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: British and Sudanese. Deng is currently a member of the British senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to former international forward Dante Cunningham (203-87, college: Villanova, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. Cunningham could not help the Minnesota Timberwolves (5-4) in their last game. Despite his good performance the Minnesota Timberwolves lost 98-106 on the road to the Golden State Warriors. Cunningham scored 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 28 minutes. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. It's Cunningham's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season: 9.7ppg, 6.1rpg, 2FGP: 54.1% in the nine games. Cunningham is a naturalized American. He played for the British national team in 2008. Strangely Cunningham has never played in United Kingdom.

   #3. The British player who performed third best last week abroad was an international guard Ben Gordon (188-83, college: Connecticut, currently plays in NBA). He was not able to help the Charlotte Bobcats (5-4) in their game against the Memphis Grizzlies (8-2) in the NBA. Despite his good performance in Saturday night's game Gordon recorded 10 points and added 3 assists. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. This season Gordon has very high stats. He averages: 13.0ppg, 2.1rpg, 2.7apg, 2FGP: 47.2%, 3FGP: 39.3% and FT: 66.7%. Gordon is a naturalized American. He is also a member of the British senior national team. Apparently Gordon has never played in United Kingdom.

Forward Myles Hesson (195-90, agency: Two Points, currently plays in Germany) led Weissenhorn Youngstars to a victory over the sixth-ranked Noerdlingen (4-4) 84-68 in the German ProB (third division) last Saturday. He was MVP of the game. Hesson had a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 15 rebounds. He also added 5 blocks and 3 steals in 36 minutes. Weissenhorn Youngstars (5-3) is placed fifth in Group South. It's Hesson's first season with the team. Hesson is currently fifth on the list of best blockers with 1.4bpg. This year he also averages: 17.1ppg and 8.6rpg in the eight games. Hesson is also British national team player.

International forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-88, also represented by Interperformances, college: Washington, currently plays in Adriatic League) was the major contributor in a Radnicki KG's victory against the 12th-ranked HKK Siroki WWin (3-6) 73-59 in the Adriatic League in Saturday night's game. Bryan-Amaning scored 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 21 minutes. Radnicki Kragujevac (5-4) is placed sixth in the Adriatic League. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Bryan-Amaning's overall stats are: 7.3ppg and 4.3rpg in the nine games. He is another player who holds two passports: Ghanian and British. Bryan-Amaning plays currently for the British national team.

Power forward Daniel Clark (210-88, another player represented by Interperformances, currently plays in Spain) managed to help Asefa Estudiantes Madrid in a victory against the closely-ranked Unicaja Malaga (5-3) 85-74 in the Spanish ACB on Sunday night. He scored 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 23 minutes. Asefa Estudiantes Madrid (5-3) is placed eighth in the ACB. Clark has been at the team for four years. This season Clark's total stats are: 2.0ppg and 2.5rpg in the four games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior British National Team roster.

International point guard Justin Robinson (187-87, another player represented by Two Points, college: Rider, currently plays in Ukraine) was not able to secure a victory for BC Kyiv (3-10) in their game against Cherkasy (5-8) in the Ukrainian Superleague. Despite his very good performance on Friday night Robinson was the top scorer with 16 points. He also added 3 assists. This season Robinson has relatively solid stats: 10.7ppg, 2.2rpg and 3.7apg. He used to play for the British national team last year.

   #8. Guard Andrew Lawrence (185-90, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to Charleston's victory against the Boston College 71-67 in the NCAA in Sunday night's game. Lawrence recorded 22 points in 20 minutes. The College of Charleston has conference record this season. Lawrence is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Charleston's roster. He has reliable stats this season: 10.7ppg, 2.2rpg and 3.7apg in the 13 games. Lawrence plays currently for the British national team.

Former U20 international center Fahro Alihodzic (208-89, currently studies in the States) contributed to an UAB's surprising victory against the U.S. Naval Academy 82-63 in the NCAA last Sunday. He recorded 16 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks. The University of Alabama at Birmingham has conference record this season. Alihodzic's stats this year are: 10.7ppg, 2.2rpg and 3.7apg. He used to play for the British U20 national team three years ago.

Forward Laurence Ekperigin (201-88, college: Le Moyne, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help FCM Ferentino (1-5) in their game against Pall.Trento (3-3) in the Italian Lega2 (second division), despite his good performance on Sunday night. Ekperigin had a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks in 35 minutes. But FCM Ferentino lost 81-87 on the opponent's court to the higher-ranked (#9) Pall.Trento. Ekperigin is currently second on the league's list of best rebounders and also on the list of best blockers (third place). He has very impressive stats this year: 16.8ppg, 10.7rpg, 1.3bpg and 2.3spg in the six games. Ekperigin is a naturalized American. He is international player as one years ago he still played for the British senior national team. Interesting that Ekperigin has never played in United Kingdom.

   #11. Former U20 international forward Will Neighbour (208-90, is currently at the American university) contributed to an easy victory against the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee 59-43 in the NCAA in Monday night's game. He scored 17 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. This season Neighbour has very high stats. He averages: 16.8ppg, 10.7rpg, 1.3bpg and 2.3spg. Neighbour used to play for the British U20 national team two years ago.

   #12. International center Eric Boateng (208-85, another player represented by Interperformances, college: Arizona St., currently plays in Germany) couldn't help New Yorker Phantoms in their game against Walter Tigers in the German BBL, despite his good performance last Saturday. He scored 10 points, had 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 20 minutes. But his team lost 80-85. Boateng has averaged so far 5.6ppg and 5.4rpg in the nine games. He is also in the roster of the British national team.

   #13. Former international power forward Tafari Toney (203-86, currently plays in France) couldn't help Charleville-Mezieres in their game against ALM Evreux in the French ProB (second division), despite his very good performance in Tuesday night's game. Toney was the second best scorer with 15 points (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line) in 27 minutes. But his team was badly defeated by 18 points 81-63. He averaged so far 11.0ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.5apg and 1.6spg in the 10 games. Toney is a naturalized American. He used to play for the British national team three years ago. Toney played also for Newcastle Eagles in British league.

   #14. International guard Devon Van Oostrum (190-93, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a 2-point Caceres Basket's victory against the closely-ranked CB Clavijo 72-70 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) last Friday. He recorded 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Van Oostrum's stats this season are: 10.6ppg, 2.9rpg and 2.3apg. He plays currently for the British national team.

   #15. International point guard Ogooluwa Adegboye (182-87, college: St.Bonaventure, currently plays in Cyprus) contributed to a 2-point Etha's victory against the closely-ranked AEK 75-73 in the Cypriot Division A last Saturday. He recorded 8 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists in 34 minutes. Adegboye belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #5 with 4.5apg. This year he also averages: 9.3ppg, 2.8rpg and 1.5spg in the four games. Adegboye is also in the roster of the British national team.

   #1. Byron Mullens (213-C-89, college: Ohio St., currently plays in NBA) led Charlotte Bobcats to a victory against the Milwaukee Bucks (6-3) 102-98 in the NBA last Monday. He scored 19 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. The Charlotte Bobcats have 5-4 record this season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Mullens has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 12.9ppg, 9.0rpg and 1.3apg. Mullens is a naturalized American. Strangely he has never played in United Kingdom.

   #2. Oladapo Ayuba (198-F-86, college: UMKC, currently plays in Sweden) led Norrkoping Dolphins to a victory over the tenth-ranked Eco Orebro (3-9) 82-65 in the Swedish Basketligan on Friday night. He was the best player in that game. Ayuba scored 16 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Norrkoping Dolphins (8-0) is placed first in the Basketligan. So far his team won all eight games in the Regular Season. Ayuba is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Norrkoping Dolphins' roster. This season he has relatively solid stats: 10.3ppg and 5.9rpg. Ayuba is a naturalized American. Interesting that he has never played in United Kingdom.

   #3. Experienced Darren Phillip (201-F-78, college: Fairfield, currently plays in Argentina) was the main contributor in an Union Progresista's victory against the closely-ranked Obras (5-11) 75-70 in the Argentinian LigaA last Friday. He was the best player in that game. Phillip recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 12 rebounds. Union Progresista (6-10) is placed 13th in the LigaA. Phillip is the league's top scorer and also on the list of best rebounders (first place). This season he has very high stats. Phillip averages: 19.9ppg, 13.1rpg and 1.1spg. He is a naturalized American. Interesting that Phillip has never played in United Kingdom.

   #4. Keith Rendleman (203-F-90, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA could not help the NC-Wilmington in their last game on Friday. Despite Rendleman's very good performance the NC-Wilmington was crushed 85-47 on the road by the Ohio University. He scored 17 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Rendleman plays fourth season for the team. Rendleman has averaged so far 2.0ppg and 2.5rpg.

   #5. Daryl Corletto (193-G-81, currently plays in Australia) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Townsville Crocodiles (0-9) crushing them 93-63 in the Australian NBL last Friday. He recorded 12 points in 25 minutes. New Zealand Breakers (7-1) are placed first in the NBL. It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. Corletto has averaged so far 9.8ppg and 1.6rpg in the eight games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: British and Australian. Despite Corletto's British passport, he previously played for the Australian U22 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the British team.

   #6. Sullivan Phillips (198-G/F-79, college: Wash.Adventist, currently plays in Germany) was not able to help BG Goettingen in their game against BG Karlsruhe in the German ProA (second division). Phillips recorded 7 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. His team was defeated 74-65. Phillips' stats this season are: 12.4ppg, 5.7rpg and 4.4apg. He is another player who holds two passports: Bermudas and British.

   #7. Andrew Thomson (205-F-84, college: Catawba, currently plays in France) was the major contributor in an La Rochelle's surprising victory against the third-ranked Blois 74-67 in the French NM1 (third division) on Saturday night. Thomson scored 19 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 31 minutes. He has averaged so far 9.3ppg and 5.7rpg in the six games.

   #8. Brendon Polyblank (197-G/F-78, college: Texas St., currently plays in Switzerland) contributed to Fribourg's victory against the sixth-ranked Boncourt 76-68 in the Swiss LNA in Saturday night's game. Polyblank recorded 8 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. He has averaged so far 9.9ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3spg. Polyblank has both British and New Zealand nationalities.

   #9. Mike Helsby (195-G/F-89, currently plays in Canada), who plays in the Canadian university league CIS was not able to secure a victory for the Waterloo University (0-3) in their last game. Despite his good performance the Waterloo University (#7) lost 64-71 in Toronto, ON to the Blues. Helsby was the second best scorer with 11 points. He also added 7 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 35 minutes. It was his first game for Waterloo University this season. Helsby also holds two passports: British and Canadian.

   #10. Lee Jeka (187-G-83, agency: Limelight Hoops, currently plays in Germany) contributed to a 1-point Science City Jena's victory against the sixth-ranked SC Rasta Vechta 99-98 in the German ProA (second division) on Saturday night. He recorded 9 points and added 6 passes. Jeka averaged so far 12.3ppg, 3.1rpg and 4.3apg. He has British and Australian nationalities.

Surrey Scorchers (BBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 23-year old American forward Gabe McCray (201-91kg-94, college: South Carolina State). He supposed to play at SC Rasta Vechta in German BBL league. McCray played in the final of MEAC Tournament. He received All-MDJUCO 1st Team award back in 2014 at his college time.
